Service can be a little slow in the morning, even without a line up. They sell baked goods from the Bakery on the other side of the building, which is my main reason to go here. I also bought a local chocolate bar brand to take home.

The matcha latte was atrocious and very sweet! It’s pre-made and they just pour a shot of pre-mixed matcha into a cup, and add the milk. What a rip. Disgusting. Highly do not recommend Phil & Sebastian. Maybe just stick with coffee :)

Nice place. Great sourdough sandwiches. Coffee disappointing - even a small Americano & Misto were served in huge mugs so coffee taste too diluted. Cakes very dry & bland.

This place serves the best lattes we've ever had, and while it's a bit pricey, you get what you pay for! It's always busy, which goes to show just how amazing the coffee is. It's set in a beautiful historic building, so it's a fantastic place to visit if you're looking to dine-in. It's also right by the river, so grab a coffee and head out for a scenic walk or visit the nearby St. Patrick's Island while you sip (like we did)!

A perfect modern espresso, delicious and amazingly flakey chocolate croissant, and beautiful atmosphere. Great place to spend some time on a slow morning.

Pretty cool location for a Phils.
The building is super old and definitely gives off a vibe.
The coffee is always good and enjoyable. We came in 5 minutes to close and felt a bit rushed by the staff. We knew we only had 5 mins but we wanted to grab our drinks and chat for 2 mins.
Oh well, this is a cool spot and the staff were nice enough. Will definitely go here again when on the area!

I wanted to treat myself to a nice coffee before leaving Calgary and a friend recommended Phil and Sebastian. I was not disappointed.
The staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable.
Instead of getting a "fancy" drink, I decided to try one of the items from the "by the cup" menu. The Ricardo Silva Pink Bourbon was delicious. I have only had something that nice and spot on flavor wise at a specialty coffee shop in Japan.
If you are a coffee lover, you need to go here and please do try one of the by the cup offerings. I'd stay in this area again just to go here daily for my morning coffee.

Ordered a small iced matcha latte with oat milk and paid $7.50 for mediocre quality matcha and ended up throwing out half the drink. Overpriced and not worth it.
I've always loved P&S. The staff here is so nice for such a busy place. The summer drinks are very delicious, but the regular latte is still my favorite. I LOVE this location.
