Went with friends for breakfast. Dined early but many seats filled. Had the pork chubbies and eggs. Eggs were soft poached, chubbies hot and juicy. Chose the chunky hashbrown, which were hot and soft. Sourdough toast with a side of cheese whiz, which I hadn't had in ages!! Plus good ole orange juice.Staff were friendly and were greeted right away.

Just passing through Calgary..stopped at the Phil's on 11 Ave Sw.We were pleased with the Food, and the service from Cathleen was excellent!P.sThe rest room was Clean!!?...That would have been a deal Breaker if it wasn't!!I would visit again!

I love this place and the wonderful staff that work there. I am always warmly greeted and have been going there for awhile because the things I’ve already mentioned. I am seated in some of my favourite spots by friendly and helpful associates, and a cup of coffee and a glass of water are offered immediately, and served with just as much expediency and enthusiasm by awesome and excellent people. The meals are always excellent and cooked to my liking without any issues. It’s always hot and fresh. I love the atmosphere and the relaxed vibe. I have made this my place for breakfast and I am grateful for genuine and thoughtful people . I give this place two thumbs up for certain. Thank youVegetarian options: There are great options of vegetables and fresh fruit. I always have a side of cottage cheese and tomatoes, and I’m always happy to eat it.Kid-friendliness: There are always kids there, and staff watch and care for them in a special and gentle manner. Terrific breakfast place. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the average breakfast is around $19 + coffee + tax + tip. However the breakfasts are large! I feel that if they had more options under $15 I could visit more regularly, and I don't always want a big breakfast. Yes they have lighter options but overall I wonder if they could trim a few dollars off. With that said, the food and service is always excellent so you get what you pay for and I do visit once a week.

I was there this morning 29 jan 2024 and i ordered a 3 egg omelette, the food had HAIR in it. Absolutely disgusting. Almost had me puked. This is not acceptable for a restaurant in downtown of this big name. Totally disgusted ??????????????????
It's a great place for breakfast, brunch , lunch..snacks. Service is always friendly, prompt, and given with a smile. Food is always great. Family friendly, large tables, or flying solo. Highly recommend.
