Amber is an excellent server with great communication skills. Service was fast ,friendly and efficient my daughter and I will be back..also love your mimosas are 11.50 . Sometimes you go places and you feel gouged by the drink prices,this was excellent value for the quantity . Good experience.

We haven't even to Phil's in years and decided to check it out today. The decor is a little dated but it's clean and comfortable. My partner had a ham and cheese omelette with pancakes that were quite large it was all very tasty and he enjoyed the blueberry syrup - a nice change. I had one of their current specials, 3 breakfast soft tacos (scrambled egg, bacon and pico de Gallo), served with sour cream and salsa on the side and hash browns. I had the shredded hash browns and they were nicely browned and crispy. It was a very tasty breakfast and they've always had good coffee - that hasn't changed, a nice roast between medium and dark. They bring a carafe to the table so you can keep your cup hot. Everything was tasty - we ll be back! They give seniors a ten percent discount on regular menu items not specials - fair enough since we didn't even know they did that.

The waitress who served us today was absolutely phenomenal. Without her service in all honesty I don’t think we would have came back, the way she spoke to all the comstomers and the way she protected herself were absolutely impeccable. We were able to not only connect with her but also enjoy our food in an environment that was so comfortable it felt like home. Amber is a very amazing waitress and without her services I definitely would not have returned. Amber is a very bright and amazing person and just in the 30 minutes I met her she not only made me feel welcomed in her place of work but also make my stay warming. She if a very amazing waitress.

This restaurant is run down, dated and needs some attention. That's where the compliments end.
Our server refused to both pick up and place glasses or plates and instead handed them to us or told us to hand them to her. She was lazy on every level and made her displeasure abundantly clear when she had to make return trips to the table. This was evident at other tables as well.
Our glasses were dirty. The food was worse. I ordered Eggs Benny, with medium poached eggs and a side of bacon. The eggs were grossly undercooked, which was shocking because the plate was so hot it nearly burned me when she handed it over, with a napkin in her hand. And the bacon was so overcooked it must have been cooked an hour before and left sitting under a heat lamp.
When I requested the eggs be cooked properly, as any breakfast cook should be able to do, they came back out poached hard. These eggs were not re-cooked as the 7 minute wait would indicate, but rather microwaved. Hungry and not willing to send my meal back for a third try, I resigned myself to eat what I hadn't ordered and as soon as I had my first bite, my friend spotted a hair on the plate. That was it, I asked for it to be removed from both the table and the bill. The server boldly told me to give her the plate and made zero apology or effort to resolve the issue.
My friend ordered five potato pancakes and well-done beef chubbies, the pancakes were borderline burnt and the chubbies cooked as usual. Five potato pancakes should come with two apple sauce and sour cream, but only comes with one, the same as an order of three.
When the bill arrived, the Benny was not removed even though she rudely informed us it had been. We did, however, appreciate the senior's discounts she applied even though we aren't seniors.
Having shown up eager to have a nice breakfast with an old friend, it very quickly turned unpleasant with one of us leaving having eaten only an order of overcooked bacon, it was beyond disappointing.
Having the server be rude right thru the payment was worthy of a poor review. She is not the right person for the job. She clearly isn't enjoying it one bit.
Our visit was Sunday, November 30th, between 12 and 1 pm, and the dining room was mostly empty with 3 tables seated.
