I have always loved Pita grill, since they opened. I usually order in or go in for take out. This weekend however, I ordered through the catering menu via TEXT. The response was quick answering every question I had. They delivered my requested items on the agreed time on the dot!! Everything was beautifully arranged and so so yummy (as usual)! They even threw in some Baklava. Would recommend these guys 100× over. Definitely 11+outta 10. So friendly too.

By far, this is the best falafel and shawarma in the city. From the exceptional customer service to the outstanding quality of the food, everything is consistently impressive. The presentation of each dish exceeds my expectations every time. I genuinely enjoy coming here, and they are most certainly my favorite. I always recommend this location and continually hear praise from others about how delicious the food is.

Gotta admit, I've loved this place for years but I've noticed some decline. The pita chips that come with the hummus have literally no seasoning- It's just deep fried pita.. greasy, plain and sad. The hummus is insanely oily and has zero flavor. I have Summer Fresh store bought hummus in my fridge that tastes better. I cannot believe the lack of flavor on their hummus. Little bit of paprika and that's it. I literally threw out the container that was $6.99- Price would be reasonable if it had some taste to it.
The donair meat is no longer that fluffy texture I used to crave. The new recipe is dense, greasy and bland. Too bad because you guys had absolutely amazing donairs for years but the new meat is frankly awful. Not sure if it's a cost cutting measure but honestly, it's bad.
I've tried all the shawarma here and honestly, they all taste the same. I can never really differentiate the proteins. Maybe it is the pickled cabbage overpowering everything, but I feel these wraps are too meat forward with not enough veggies to be honest.
Place is spotless and the guys are nice but I've noticed a big decline in quality. I'll be looking elsewhere for that shawarma and donair fix.

I ordered a beef shawarma large today from the menu. I used to frequent this place when I lived in Riverbend. Ouch not the same quality today as it was then. I actually took the filling of very tough meet and put it on my own wrap and added more stuff to it. The wrap was almost inedible to eat it was so tough. At 20 plus bucks with a tip! I won’t ever be back. Very disappointed.

Ate here for the first time last week. By far the best donair I’ve had in Calgary. I love how they wrap the donair in a large outer wrap as well as the pita - it doesn’t fall apart - no matter how many toppings (and they are very generous with the toppings and sauce).
Loved it so much, we got dinner for a committee meeting today. We bring in food every month - for the first time EVERYONE was happy with their meal.
So fresh and flavourful. Everything they serve is homemade. Can’t wait to go back!
