One of the best Filipino bakery in town. Parking is a bit tricky, but you could park in other spots if you are only picking up.

One of the best pandesals I ever had in Canada. Very soft and tasty. Reminds me of my aunt's. Highly recommend.

I ordered two cakes for the potluck at work, an Ube Macapuno cake and a Sans Rival cake. Both looked very good and both were VERY tasty and delicious. One co-worker of mine even described them as orgasmically delicious, hehehe. Yes they were THAT GOOD!

I'm sure a lot of my co-workers will pay this place a visit for tasting the cake I brought them at the potluck. And so should you! Give them a visit, I'm sure you'll be very satisfied with the taste of their cakes.

Food is amazing. My favorite is the pianono. First time trying the mango crinkles today and it did not disappoint. The mango cake is really good as well. My mom’s house is just a block away from their shop and it’s always a treat to visit them with my little son. We like to walk there on warm days. Service is friendly and the patrons are kind and very helpful. It’s a hidden gem in Ranchlands. I recommend you visit. Maraming Salamat po!

PurpleYum made the best chocolate cake for my husband's 80th birthday; we had guests from across Canada for a big celebration. It was absolutely delicious, every single person loved it! I will be ordering a cake for every family special occasion!

Very disappointed with the Ube Custard and Ube Pandesal.

Ube Custard
• The flavor was extremely bland, and the cake itself was really dry—not what I expected at all.

Ube Pandesal
• Barely any cheese inside, which was a letdown.

I’ve attached a photo of the ube pandesal I bought from Seafood City for comparison—you can clearly see how generous they are with the cheese filling. Sadly, Purple Yam’s version just doesn’t compare.

A special bake shop in the heart of Ranchlands. It's a great place to pick up a cake for birthdays or parties, or do yourself a favour and pick up a silvana for a tasty little treat. You won't regret it!

I have gotten their cakes before. They are delicious! I only gave this place a four star instead of five because it would be nice if they can update their availability through their social media or even through their voicemail. I called last week and nothing. It leaves customers hanging especially if they were planning for a special occasion. Just my two cents on it.

Their Filipino desserts are spot on. Reminds me of home. I tried their Sylvanas and I have to say I’ll be back for more.
