Raj Palace

We were frequent customers at this place. Last Tuesday we went there to celebrate our anniversary. We were 5 adults. Our friend ordered lamb curry. I ordered fish curry with coconut masala. After coming home both of us had diarrhea. I think the mutton curry must have been very old. I hope you do not serve this kind of food. Someone will call the food department and close your premises.

Taste is ok. Average. Takeout portion size is only half what you get at most other restaurants. Chintzy little wee containers for takeout. Terrible value for money. Won't be back here.

Got lucky and popped into Raj Palace before driving back to Edmonton! We were hungry and just looked on Google Maps for a spot.

So many restaurants in the area but as we love Indian food it was an easy pick. Wow, what luck! It was soooo goooood!

The staff was great and very knowledgeable and excited about the food! Can’t wait to get back!

And the dosa was amazing! (See picture!)

Disappointed to say the least! I love Raj palace and thought this one must be the same but looks like their dishes n preparation differ from one another!
Paneer dosa was just onions! Chutneys and sambar were bland! Uttapam was so thick as if it was a pizza base.
Service was great! The lady was courteous but that’s not enough. Food disappointed me like never before.

Not a good experience overall. It was a small place, not at all crowded. We had ordered dosas uttapam and chicken biryani. Can't say that any of them were good. Dosas weren't crispy. Paneer dosas had more onions than paneer. Uttapam was very thick and not upto the mark. Even the chutney and sambar weren't good. Chicken biryani wasn't good either. Was more baked than I've ever tasted. Quantity was good overall, but what's the point of it if the quality isn't good. We went to this place thinking that it will be as good as the Raj palace on the 112 avenue. But sadly we were disappointed. Please visit the place at the 112 Ave nw for the authentic South indian food experience.

I visited this restaurant last night with high expectations, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. Our server took nearly 20 minutes to take our order, and the food arrived cold and overcooked. When we mentioned this, the staff seemed indifferent and didn’t offer to fix the meal.

The place looks nice and has a cozy atmosphere, but its not like that and mediocre food made it hard to enjoy. For the price, I expected much better. I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Honestly one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a while. The food was cold, the service was painfully slow, and no one seemed to care. We waited 45 minutes for our mains, and when they finally came, they were barely edible. Not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Ordered naan and fish . Naan was one of those packaged naans and was just heated up and sent . Fish wasn’t battered properly and was filed with oil . Not used to such a bad quality from this place

Helpful service and large portions.

We had a coconut boneless chicken curry and a dosa. We had a Kerala Parota bread instead of a naan to go with the curry as per advice from server.

Chicken was cooked perfectly. Desired spice level was high as desired without overpowering the coconut and black pepper.

I ordered from Raj Palace online, and I’m seriously impressed! The food arrived fresh, hot, and perfectly packed — everything looked just as good as it tastes in person.

The delivery was right on time, and the packaging was clean, secure, and eco-friendly. Nothing spilled or got soggy, which is rare with takeout!

I tried the Chicken Biryani and it was absolutely delicious — full of flavor, generous portions, and made with fresh ingredients. You can tell the kitchen really puts care into every order, even for delivery.

It’s clear that Raj Palace values quality and consistency, whether you’re dining in or eating at home. Definitely one of the best online food experiences I’ve had — I’ll be ordering again soon!
