Reader's Garden Cafe is a charming spot in a historic 1910 house surrounded by lovely gardens. The food is fresh and delicious, with a good selection of menu items like the Eggs Benedict made with a biscuit/scone base. The breakfasts, brunch, and lunch are fantastic, and the service is excellent with very courteous waitresses. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful brunch in the garden, which is surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees, giving a country cottage feel despite being in the city. The gardens are spectacular to walk around, making it a perfect place for a quiet escape. The cafe often gets busy, so reservations are recommended. It’s a hidden summer gem with a scenic setting, great atmosphere, and reasonable prices.
