A perfect Friday night hideout. Beautiful ambiance and atmosphere. The vibes were vibin'. Sam and Jax were amazing hosts. Great drinks. We had the MaiTai the Saturn and the Sherry banana peanut butter drink. It was all very well presented and meticulously prepared. They really respect the art of creating a welcoming environment and making the visit special for the patrons. Very happy, kind and welcoming staff. Definitely a great place to hang out. I loved everything about the place. The food was delicious. The drinks were delicious. 100% will be back!

Ricardos is such a great little spot. Great atmosphere on a busy night and great staff as well. The food is spectacular. Snacks mainly but you're not going to miss on anything you order. Dont sleep on it, or if you havent been there for awhile dont forget about it!

The vibes are cool and the place has potential, but to not serve 2 mains on a menu that only has 3 in total is a bit disappointing (they didn't have the Maui short rib OR curry oxtail), they also didn't have plantain chips or romaine hearts... It sounds like they're doing a menu revamp but they could at least post that on their website so people don't come surprised that half the menu isn't being served. The food that did come was alright (fried chicken was tasty but everything else was meh). The cocktails were okay but not great. Server was nice but the restaurant only had 1 server and a bartender so it was a bit slow. Overall pretty disappointing dining experience.

Got there and it seemed like they forgot our reso- put us at the bar “while they tried to figure out a table” and instead just …. Left us at the bar, instead of coming up with different solution that would’ve let us sit together in a way we could actually talk to each other. Or even if they had just told us they couldn’t get us in after we made a reservation, then we could’ve left. Instead of getting us to wait and wait in the hopes of getting a table. Then we were offered free drinks, got sample size “pina coladas” that tasted like cheese (literally. We all tried a sip and they straight up tasted like cheese). Perhaps the milk in it had gone off? SO disappointing, after having attended this pop up at this location for four or five years in a row with friends. Maybe the management or the staff is different? Anyway, just not as fun of a night as I’d usually expect.
Vegetarian options: Basically nothing, even worse if you’re vegan.

Booked our reso for the Christmas theme as a pre holiday friends gathering and was very excited to give it a try. People are absolutely lovely, all the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The decor is exactly what you want for a casual Christmas gathering. Cocktails were fun, priced nicely and and good variety. Staff were happy to make suggestions and the ability to purchase the perfectly kitschy cute glassware (like Santa as a mermaid) was a nice touch! Where this fell down for me was the food. We ordered a variety of items to share off the limited menu. The Beef patty is the highlight - crispy, spicy, would absolutely order again. The Doubles were a close second, not traditional but very flavorful. The plantain chips arrived at our table like a bowl full of crumbs at the bottom of a chip bag - just a pile of tiny broken pieces, they were ok but difficult to eat as intended which is a shame as the dipping sauce was good, but tough to use with just crumbs to dip. We ordered the oxtail curry and short ribs to share between us all and both were a huge letdown. The ‘curry' was the blandest thing I have ever eaten, which was a bummer, was really hoping for a flavorful plate. The ribs were in a sauce that was sooo sweet it overtook everything - no other real flavor to accompany, just sweet. The ribs were Cooked really well, super tender, falling off the bone, but the rice & beans underneath were so soaked in the sweet sauce it was tough to eat. We did enjoy the roti. I would like to return in the new year to try the regular menu and cocktails, but we all agreed the food left us a little disappointed.

We went for the sippin Santa cocktails and were pleasantly surprised they were only $12 on Sundays. The decorations were very cute and the drinks were good. The server seemed new and a little lost but overall she was very friendly

Came here for drinks on the weekend before Halloween. They had really good drink specials for Halloween. Adam was our waiter and he was really good. It was our anniversary and he went above and beyond to make are stay fun.

Rum lover? Foodie? Love unique atmosphere? You must run to Ricardo's. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. We were asked if we've been there before and as it was our first time, our amazing server walked us through the entire experience. You must try the Plaintain Chips and the YAM FRIES... and if you don't order the short ribs you are missing out on taste bud party of epic proporations. Love the food, love the cocktails, love the ambiance and the high-level of customer service. 10/10 Fans for LIFE!!!

My partner and I came for our anniversary celebration and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our server, Adam, was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. A special thanks for the complimentary Pina Colada with the umbrellas, in addition to the bendy heart straws; it definitely made the moment more memorable! We had the fish tacos, tuna ceviche and the Maui Short Ribs as a main; everything was 10/10! Delicious food and a relaxing, cozy ambiance. We requested a corner booth outside and found it was nice and private and very much enjoyed our time. Highly recommend the Key lime Surprise cocktail or the Mojitos!! Both delicious! Once again, thank you for your hospitality and compliments to the chefs, bartenders and amazing staff!
