I ordered the fried Brussels sprouts, the truffle nori tots and the mushroom ramen carbonara. The tots were nothing special in my opinion, the carbonara was delicious and I enjoyed the Brussels sprouts so much I wouldn’t share them with my husband. I’d like to say I want to try more on the menu but I might just get the carbonara and sprouts every time!!

Love this place - our favorites, the fiery chicken and cheese(you will be transported by both the heat and the flavor!) and the spicy caesar salad, so clever!

Food tasted authentic Korean. Sauce for chicken sandwich was a little intense. Japchae was a little salty. Presentation was great

glad to see them downsize because their original location was a rip off. $20 for a few slice of meat and lettuce.

I’ve tried their beef bulgogi on a couple of occasions. Beef was very chewy and kinda burnt and overall disappointing, although the veggies were fresh. Considering portion and price, I would suggest any other Korean place.

First time at Roy’s Korean Kitchen in the district for a quick lunch. Service was good, price was high but understandable in today’s economy. I ordered the JapChae Bap with Bulgogi beef. This bowl was full of flavour! The noodles were soft, the rice was fluffy and the beef was nice and savoury. The mushrooms added a nice touch of flavour as well. I can’t wait to come back and try something else.

The KFC sandwich is always sooooo good here. Yeah prices have gone up a bit, but everyone's getting hit with higher food prices, restaurants included.

The chicken and waffles are also fantastic.

Expensive.

I’ve repeatedly gone back & been impressed, eating out is expensive, but I find reasonable value when I order here. Enthusiast counter team and savoury hot food…I think my only nuanced complaint is the tip-out handheld starting at 18%, most folks in this economy can barely afford 15% and with take-out, I believe 10-15% is fair, I’m not being served at a table!? Still five stars, as I believe some of these one star ratings are unscrupulous!!!

"You should check out Roy's Korean Kitchen, it's absolutely delicious" replied Wattoh in the group chat when I commented on there being nothing to eat for lunch around my place.I was hesitant because he once said Top Gun 2 was a "Masterpiece in filmmaking" so it's hard to take his reviews seriously. In this case however, he was bang on. I've had the Mozzarella Fried Rice and the Curry on two separate occasions and both were some of the best dishes I've had in Calgary.Definitely recommended!
