And proceed to take multiple orders instead of giving me my food, as I was ahead of everyone, let it sit there and get cold instead of serving it to me. Complete ignorance

It was my first time visiting. Plenty of people have recommended it, and now I see why! The food was delicious, the servers were extremely nice, & the quality of service was consistent throughout the visit. The best part... The portions are large but not overwhelming. This is easily one of the better Vietnamese options I've experienced in the Calgary area. We will definitely be back!

I used to love coming to Maxim Saigon, but unfortunately, my recent visit left me really disappointed. The service was poor — no one checked in to see how I was doing or if the food was okay. I ordered a soup that came with undercooked meat, and an avocado shake that didn’t arrive until I had already finished eating. The soup itself was just okay, but I’m honestly concerned I might get food poisoning from it. It’s clear the staff need more training, especially on customer service. Sadly, I won’t be coming back, and I can’t recommend this place anymore.

I’ve ordered #53 before and truly enjoyed it. It was freshly cooked and tasted great.
I had it again today for lunch and food appeared to be previously prepared and presumably reheated. The fried chicken was tough and didn’t taste fresh. Very disappointing!!! Food went in the garbage after a few bites!

I came here with my parents for dinner and we enjoyed every bite. From flavourful cuisine with big portions to the welcoming environment and traditional vibe that is carried throughout. We'll definitely be making a return soon!
P.S. - Their prices are fair and great too! I recommend going if you haven't already:)

No other vietnamese restaurant in the city can beat this place! The prices here are one of the lowest and their portions come in ginormous sizes to the point where it’s more than filling! I would recommend to everyone i know. The M2 is personally my favourite. The owner Ty is the sweetest. Service is quick and friendly and everyone always has a huge smile on their face.
