While the parfait was enjoyable, I believe the yogurt used lacked flavour and had a sour taste. I plan to return and perhaps try their smoothies instead.“

“first time eating here with a diverse group with limited Japanese food experience. mind blown!! beautiful atmosphere, staff were amazing made the 2 birthdays in our group very special. The food was beautifully prepared and tasted amazing! one in our group is a meat and potato's guy but is now a sushi lover! expecting a huge bill at the end of the night but was shocked at how very reasonable the price was for a total of 7 people. Definitely will be back a new favorite restaurant.“

“Nice little spot in the new U district. The ambiance is nice. We had a large group on the heated patio. Avery did a good job with the big group. Their cocktails were good (had both). Our group had a fixed menu. Caesar was good, mushrooms on toast was nice, and steaks was great. Dessert was decent too. Would go back and try the regular menu.“

“I absolutely love this restaurant. I used to go to the Bankers Hall location all of the time before they closed. Brookfield is excellent though — great menu and friendly staff. It costs about $15.00 for a salad, but they are dinner-sized. Good value. I’ve tried almost everything on their menu and the charred pesto salad is king. I just wish they would bring back some of their old menu items, such as the scoops, ahi tuna, and bacos (bread tacos).“

“I had this because seniors pizza was way too busy as usual. This food was amazing. The chicken was huge and the sauce was spectacular. the fries were crispy and the portion was amazing. 5 stars. You will not need disappointed.“

“Since moving to Calgary and working nearby this has been my go-to lunch time spot! The pasta is delicious, big portions. I've become addicted to the donairs, if you're in a rush at lunch these guys push through a line fast. Been surprised at the variety and quality of the buffet, didn't expect that from a quick serve place, restaurant quality. I don't typically leave reviews but after arriving near closing for a donair the guys were more than happy to make one for me as they cleaned, we had a good chat and laugh as the staff was enjoying themself, that was fantastic to see.

Very clean, bright atmosphere as well. It gets crowded and busy fast at lunch but most lines move fast.

(Before I even knew who owned the place..) I was informed by the team about the heavy involvement that they play in deciding the menu, protecting the atmosphere, and had a great time seeing the excitement on the faces of the staff when asking for recommendations.

The team is tight knit, the food is on point, the staff are knowledgeable and kind, and I've never had a bad experience, meal, or conversation when attending The Banquet.

Not allowing for ingredient swaps on Blaze Signature pizzas is also an unfortunate policy if there is one ingredient if you dont like on it. I also dont agree with how they charge 80 cents for a plastic condiment holder?! Cmon do better guys.“

“I took my 6-year-old niece here as she is celiac. She was excited to order chicken fingers, which were so delicious as was the Maui pizza and Greek salad. The service was amazing and the gentleman serving us and doing the cooking brought over a complementary gluten-free flat bread that he’d just made. It was so nice to know the menu was all gluten free. Highly recommend! We’ll be ordering takeout again for sure.“

“Only ordered from Skip to my work (not far so food travels great). Ordered it a few times now and tried 3 different menu items. The pad thai was alright.The green curry is possibly the best I've had in Calgary. It is silky and has some spice to it. There is plenty of sauce so that you can easily turn this into two meals. I have had the green curry 3 times and all 3 times enjoyed it just as much.Today I am currently eating the drunken noodles. Spicy and delicious and now tied with the green curry for best dish there for me.You want Thai? Try this place! It for sure beats out other Thai places in the area. I have tried many :)“

“I’m “Joey Tribbiani” level passionate about sandwiches. I know you can make them at home, but I like tasting what people who are devoted to sandwiches think they should taste like.

The 1762 from Earl has been stuck in my head and I can’t wait to try it again. Succulent roast beef with sharp cheddar and a tangy horseradish sauce, commingling toasty in a soft bun.

I’ve mentioned here before that I’m not a huge fan of hot subs. But, EoS has won me over.

The Holiday Turkey Sandwich gets reviews as “the best sandwich I ever had” online so I wanted to try it. I make a mean turkey leftover sandwich so the first day I thought it was “ok”. But the 2nd day I heated the other half up, and it had me SINGING.

The sando’s are tightly wrapped in paper and foil so they arrived in perfect shape even for take-out (delivery) across the city.

I can’t wait to try more varieties and definitely sink my teeth into another 1762.“

“It's the best food and diet to eat. For people with diabetes and to prevent diabetes and dementia which are strongly linked. Virgin olive oil, and naturally oily fish are anti inflammatories to the brain; while vegetable fats sugar salts are destructive to the brain and the heart. Chopped leaf is the best because it's the Mediterranean diet, proven by research as the best healthiest diet, brown rice not white is too, that's at chopped leaf. Chicken, nuts is protein and good for yo. Freshii is also good in a similar way. Half the plate should be fresh natural leafy greens, a quarter protein such as nuts, chicken, beef, a quarter carbs.“
