Service was great! Drinks were tasty and came promptly! Food looked delicious, a couple of our meals the meat was pretty dry. Other than that it was pretty good.

Outstanding!! It's in a very central spot with lots of other restaurants and bars around on a very cool walking street. The servers were all very friendly and welcoming, attentive, prompt, and thoughtful. I had a reservation for 16 people after a large conference in the city. The bar area was quite busy with other patrons, and when Jimmy (the evening manager), saw our group (who were dressed professionally and not their typical patrons) they opened the other half of the restaurant and setup a spot for us to socialize more quietly together, which also allowed their other guests to enjoy the hockey game too. The food was delicious and everyone in our group had a great time! Highly recommended for groups of all sizes and for people of all backgrounds. Special thank you to the staff and Jimmy for their hospitality!!

We had a great experience overall. Our server was fantastic—attentive, helpful, and perfectly timed throughout the meal. The food was really good, especially the meats, though I would have preferred the brisket sliced rather than fully shredded. The mac and cheese was outstanding, and the poutine had delicious gravy, though the cheese curds were ice‑cold and didn't melt. The wings were a definite highlight. Happy Hour offered excellent value on drinks, and the meat platter was the perfect amount (and price) for two people. Would happily return.

Burger was not cooked, service started out okay and then got slower. So I paid and left. Won’t be going back. Would’ve stayed and drank more beer but was disappointed so I took my business elsewhere.

Good salty bark on the brisket but the slices themselves were not tender. The meat required chewing and the fat was not soft. Just not worth it. Waitstaff were friendly though!

The staff are great, friendly and good atmosphere. The food is great too. I had the Smoke Haus Poutine one night and their flames burger. The Cajun fries and corn bread are so good here !

I ordered the chicken fingers and the portion size was so small. While they were delicious it was $18.50 for 3 chicken tenders. My dude was Cesar salad which was also small and I was charged $3.50 and a side of blue cheese was $2 so my entire meal was $24 for 3 chicken tenders and a tiny Cesar salad. Others food looked more better portioned but this meal is so small. If you’re going for chicken fingers go elsewhere, because you will leave hungry.

Social Beer Haus is my to go place and on Wednesday I really needed my Social Beer Haus fix. As usual, the service was amazing, food was great and their Cajun Pineapple Margarita was insanely delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Amazing bar downtown! Great to stop at for dinner and drinks before going out! As a group We went out for Halloween night, the atmosphere was great. But the staff made it that much better! We went back a second night in a row and still Got amazing service. Our waitress was amazing and helped with all our needs! Food was amazing, and drinks were amazing! Always quick service, even when the bar is packed!! Thanks Again you guys, we will definitely be back!

I have started going to social beer Haus with coworkers due to their amazing daily specials. We now are going weekly if not twice a week sometimes due to the quality of the food and the great service we receive. Their staff is friendly and it is crazy how fast you get your food. This place is perfect for those looking to spend their lunch break out of the office without it taking two hours. Honestly with the prices of fast food these days, if you get one of the daily specials you get have a nice sit down lunch for only a fraction more.

I had such an amazing time at Social Beer Haus! The vibe is always on point, great energy, friendly and personable staff, and an awesome atmosphere for any night out. They’ve got an incredible selection of beers on tap, delicious food, and their new menu is even better than before.
It’s the perfect spot for hockey, football, or any sports game, with tons of weekly specials and live music events that make every visit fun. Hands down the best place on Stephen Avenue and easily the top spot in Calgary for barbecue and beers!
