This place does not accept cash. I read the reason why on the replies, thank-you. I would of bought more with my cash, but the person at the cash register wanted my card instead. My honest review, fries were bland and had no taste to them, and the burger was seasoned well, so at least enjoyed that. Will I come back? Probably, but not for a long time. Too many other burger places to check out now that accept cash as their currency.

Shrinkflation/price inflation/quality deflation. Gone down hill drastically since first opened. Used to get a full sized chicken breast on a burger and now it's at the the most 1/5th a breast. They can no longer confirm to use sunflower oil and the sign by the till that used to boast everything being cooked in sunflower oil is gone. They force you into tipping despite being the equivalent of any old generic fast food restaurant and offer literally no better service than McDonald's. There's several types of toppings that do not exist here anymore and the fact they serve alcohol at an excessive price doesn't change the facts the foods quality and quantity is far below what it was during its first few years of service. Every time I have ever ordered poutine it's cold, the fries are soggy and some even raw and once again the large is half the size and now served in these weird leaky boxes that aren't BPA free. My family and I now make our own at home, we save roughly 80$ making everything their menu offers from scratch and it's nicer because we can cook together and don't have to listen to the awful music and we don't have to pointlessly tip for service that's equivalent or less than any other fast food restaurant and they force you into paying their way, you can't use cash, absolute bogus. We will never visit here again.

Great place to have a great build your own burger. The special they have on with there burger fries and a refillable drink is such a great deal. The service is way better than any other burger place, it makes you wonder how the other places treat their employees. Definitely recommend

It get 1 star for being a cashless restaurant. Great burgers. But ill never go back.
Left feeling pretty disappointed. The portions have shrank significantly unlike the prices, aswell as the burgers were pretty cold when we got them because they sat on their door counter waiting for the fries to be done.
If you’re gonna spend the money on a burger save yourself the trip and just go to 5 guys. Their replies seem to show they only care for appearances not actual service.

South Street Burger used to be a great spot for a satisfying meal, but recent changes have taken away much of what made it stand out. The burgers feel noticeably smaller, and the reduced selection of condiments has taken some of the fun out of customizing an order. What was once an outstanding visit now feels a bit disappointing, as the overall experience doesn’t live up to its past quality.

I have a gf allergy and the lady on staff helped me so much, it was my first time there . The gf bun was amazing one of the best, and the burger and fries overall were really good. The staff were super nice if i was over here more often id probably come all the time.

This place they are jerks and a big one they can never live down is how they went above and beyond public health measures during covid and treated people like dogs. Food is mediocre and alot of the time burgers aren't even cooked. Do not go here
