Starbelly Open Kitchen & Lounge is a restaurant with great service, where staff go the extra mile to accommodate guests' needs. The layout is impressive with a huge, open-kitchen style, and lots of action. Starbelly has one of the more underrated cocktail menus in Calgary, with experienced bartenders and top-to-bottom knockouts for food and beverage alike. The food is generally good, with some dishes being great; the steak tartare was fantastic at a recent visit. The atmosphere is nice, with a cozy lounge area. Prices may be a bit steep, but the value is generally good. The restaurant provided a fantastic venue for a holiday party, with seamless communication and preparation, excellent customer service, delicious food, and a beautiful venue, exceeding expectations for a 10-star experience.
