Ordered 3 dishes, house special rice, Beef curry and Szechuan noodles. The noodles and rice was pretty good, however the curry sauce was very watery, not much taste, it was also heavily packed with various vegetables and not much beef.

Pretty good chinese food. Had the typical food, ginger beef, sweet and sour chicken, etc. and was very tasty although maybe a bit too much sauce. My elderly folks loved it as it was not spicy at all.

Service was amazing. We ordered take out and person on the phone was quick and helpful, knew their stuff. When I came to pick up the order guy in the front was very polite and also very quick and helpful. Their beef satay was great. Good amount of beef right amount of veg. Fried was good, pretty standard for most places. Seafood wasn't bad but also was not the greatest. A lot of veg not enough seafood. But the sauce it self was good. Overall a good experience.

Nice family-run restaurant with wonderful food and reasonable prices! We had pork dumplings, ginger beef, prawns with mixed vegetables, and soy sauce chow mein with bbq pork.
The dumplings were fresh and juicy, and the noodles loaded with flavour. The mixed vegetables were super delicious and the prawns were so tender!! The ginger beef was ultra crispy and so tasty, although it was sweeter than I would have preferred.
Overall, Sun Island Eatery is a fantastic restaurant and we'll definitely be back!
