Sun Island Eatery is my go to for a satisfying and quality meal. I really love the variety of Asian cuisine that is offered on the menu. My family orders here all the time because we love our favorites, but we also like to try new dishes as well. They use high quality meats and the vegetables are always fresh too. They take pride in their kitchen skills. The lady at the front always delivers exceptional, fast and hospitable service that keeps us returning. I always recommend others to try this place. This is some of the best Chinese food I have had in this city by far! It’s fresh and flavourful and the portions are perfect. The people who run the restaurant are super friendly and offer exceptional service. 10/10 you won’t be disappointed.
Food are not bad, but don't tip them, because owner keep all tips, does not share with the workers, not a penny to kitchen chiefs, neither to dishwasher.

Ordered for pickup, they said 15 minutes, waited inside for one hour still no food, left and phoned to cancel. Seemed they could care less. First attempt to order from here and last I guess. Reviews seem good , maybe they got the food from somewhere else? Terrible service (well actually zero service)..

This has been our go to place for a few years. Always hot, fresh, and large servings. This year we decided to *pre* order Chinese for Christmas and as always it was hot, fresh, ready on time and delicious. All our guests raved, I have leftovers for a lazy boxing day and it probably cost less than putting on a big turkey dinner. If you haven't tried this gem of a place, please do! Ordered the dinner of 4, usually when you order Chinese food you're constantly drinking water from the amount of MSG, I didn't feel this way with the meal I had from Sun Island Eatery. There's a reason this place has been in business for so long, I remember coming here during high school for $5 fried rice and dumpling combos. They also offer 12% off orders over $38 for pick-up so make sure you phone in for your takeout orders.

It's my new favourite spot! Need to come a couple times of course to peg down consistency but for now it gets the nod. Crispy, delicious salt and pepper squid. Gooey sauce crispy ginger beef. Mixed veg with cashews was topped up and cooked just right to let the veggies speak for themselves instead of being over sauced. Spring rolls were excellent. Even the rice was great.
