The food taste ok, their portions has downsize.
This restaurant is famous for dim sum. Overall I like this food, fresh and tasty. I will go back to try the dinner menu. The shrimps dishes were good. The deep fry squid was my favorite.
Alright, folks, buckle up, because T.Pot China Bistro just took my tastebuds on a joyride. I came in hungry, I left happy, and I'm pretty sure I saw my life flash before my eyes in a swirl of delicious noodles.
The star of the show? Those dumplings. Oh. My. Goodness. They arrived looking innocent enough, but one bite in, and I swear I heard a choir of tiny, flavorful angels singing. I'm not saying they're magic, but I haven't been able to fit into my pre-dumpling pants since. Worth it. Every. Single. Bite.
And let's not forget the greens! My mom always told me to eat my vegetables, and at T.Pot, it's actually a pleasure. They managed to make greens taste so good, I almost forgot they were good for me. Almost.
The noodles? A glorious tangled mess of perfection. I'm pretty sure I inhaled them, which is a testament to how utterly addictive they are. My dining companion and I probably looked like we were in a competitive eating contest, but honestly, there was no time for civility when faced with such culinary greatness.
Service was prompt and efficient, which is good, because any delay would have resulted in me scaling the walls for more dumplings. The ambiance is exactly what you want: bustling, lively, and with just the right amount of clatter to remind you that you're in a happy place where food reigns supreme.
So, if you're looking for a place where your pants will feel a little tighter, your heart a little fuller, and your cravings utterly satisfied, T.Pot China Bistro is your spot. Just don't blame me when you start dreaming of dumplings. I've already accepted my fate.
Visited this place a year ago while in town. Certainly degraded quite a bit. Their so-call special pricing of $2.50 of veggies was such a small fish and was way over cooked. Disappointed.
Paid 90$ for 3 dishes but it was barely anything, service was extremely bad as the server never came to check on us and when we asked for chili pepper, they said they did not have it even though we asked for it 2 days ago. At the end, they gave us attitude for not giving a tips. Like the AUDACITY
Food was nice. But the service was rude and forgot our order.
I've had the opportunity to try several of the main courses here as well as the Peking Duck and the Wor Wonton soup. Vert good. They are worthy of a visit. I also caution you when pouring your tea, like most Asian restaurants, the teapots are drippy so ask for extra napkins straight off. Service is good, tables are clean!
I’ve been a loyal customer since the opening of the restaurant. As a chef myself I understand the ups and downs of a restaurant and service.
Every restaurant has its good days and bad days…. And being understanding to that I’ve given t-pot a lot of chances because being in the industry myself (chef for nearly 20yrs) The last 2 times I've gone and sat down and ordered food from them both times they would bring out 1 dish then forget the rest. I’ve sat there with my mom and my kids waiting for nearly an hour both times. Then I would have to ask where my food is then the server would tell me because the kitchen was busy the kitchen forgot it. The last time I just had enough of the lack of service, so I walked out after waiting more than an hour for my food that didn’t come. The server said she doesn’t know because she isn’t cooking the food but it is her responsibility to be attentive and watch the tables in her section. If you notice a table hasn’t had food come to the table yet other tables have received theirs it’s a clear indication that something is wrong. Needless to say I won’t be giving them anymore chances, the service and food isn’t that good to be treated like that on multiple occasions and to have such poorly attentive staff.
NEVER COMING BACK!
Great live singing and the service is amazing! The food is delicious and desert is even better!
I've been going here for years. It's probably the best Dim Sum in the city. Now keep in mind that you're here for the food. The servers may appear nonchalant and almost rude, but that's not the case. They will provide your food quickly, fill up your tea, and clear your dishes. They do an amazing job.

Dropped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, it was crazy busy. They were getting people in and out pretty well. The food was great. Took a second to understand what was going on and get food ordered but the staff were helpful. Family and I were impressed and enjoyed our meal.
Moderate quality dim sum with exceptionally rude waitresses.
Went to T-Pot for a family lunch, and the food is absolutely incredible. Would definitely reccomend this place to friends and family, always.
Authentic Chinese cuisine featuring dim sum and hearty dishes. It’s usually our first stop after the flight into Calgary.
Conveniently located in Harvest Hills T&T mall, the restaurant offers hearty dishes and an impressive selection of dim sum, making it a go-to spot for both casual meals and special gatherings. The service is efficient, the portions are generous, and the flavors are consistently authentic. Whether you’re craving classic dumplings, BBQ pork buns, or a comforting bowl of congee, T Pot delivers a satisfying dining experience every time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality Chinese cuisine in Calgary!
The food is good however the service is terrible. Went for dinner and they served the dishes we ordered to another table. Instead of being apologetic the waitress was arrogant and aggressive. They have no idea of what customer service is.
