Love love love their pizza!
Owner and GM are wonderful people, great ambience, stylish without being pretentious.
Staff are great, with one exception. The goth style server could use a little bit of improvement in regards to mannerism and appearance. It looked like she fell out of bed and came to work. Did not get the impression that she was putting in any significant effort.
The only other complaint I would have is that there are WAY too many small children, toddlers, babies, which really spoils the environment of a brewhouse/bar. In my opinion, brewhouses/pubs/ bars are for adults and I don't believe that they should be there and that their parents should be taking them to more child friendly places.
Other than that, I always have a great time whenever I go.

The Czech pilsner is awesome. Pizza is top notch.

A top tier option in Calgary if you are looking for a place to grab a drink and some good eats.
The taproom itself is very inviting and conceptualized very well.
The beer is well crafted with high quality ingredients and it comes through with every sip. They have a nice variety, so there will be something for anyone and everyone.
I was blown away by the pizza...it easily made my list of some of the best Calgary has to offer. The crust is something special.
Tailgunner is a place I will gladly recommend to anyone and one that I will return to many more times.

Went there for Tuesday trivia. Great atmosphere. I’ve never seen a pub that allows dogs inside during dinner service, it was super cute seeing so many puppies sitting along side their owners at the table! If I had known, I would have brought my little pooch. The only reason I gave this place 3 stars is because the service was quite slow and the pizza took quite a long time to get to the table. The food was good though.

The best pizza you will ever have. The beer is great too, good variety of options. Service was efficient, always had drinks in front of us. Kid friendly which is awesome, but they don’t have a change table- so you will see parents changing kids on the tables /booths. An easy fix to throw a change table in the bathroom.

I was immediately turned off by the fact that you can't get Caesars here. Took almost 15mins to get a drink cause I didn't wanna leave with ordering something. Asked for a tall double got a short. Let my drink run dry for another 15. Had to go to the bar to pay and leave. Won't be back.

The carne pizza here is fantastic! The spicy maple dip adds a unique kick that I didn’t expect but absolutely loved. Definitely recommend!

There are some great micro-brews here.

Sat on the patio and had a couple of beers. Beers were delicious, service was awesome, and the venue is very chill. We will be back to try some pizza as it looked amazing.

Interesting smaller brewery. Limited food menu as it is associated with Acme pizza. They should add popcorn or nachos to go with the beer.

Really good pizza! The carbonara is quite rich, but delicious. The carne was the star here! The spicy maple dip is very good with the crust!

My wife and I visited as I was intrigued by the story of the owner's grandfather, and also by the selection of beer styles. We absolutely loved this place. The food was great, the staff was absolutely amazing and so welcoming, and the beers were top-notch. The Linton Stephenson Czech pils was most definitely the best I have had left of the Atlantic ocean, and the wheat lager was also a personal favourite. I loved everything about this place. Hands down my favourite Calgary brewery! Cheers :)

My partner and I were only visiting Calgary for a day, decided to stop in for a beer, and stayed for much longer than planned! We were blown away by the quality of beer and great people that own/ run Tailgunner. The place is beautiful and we were so glad to have found them. Make it a point to stop in!

The best place nice patio good food and best of all amazing beers if I lived here I would be here all the time
