The food was good but one of our party requested hot sauce for her sandwich. We realized later that there was a $1.50 charge for the hot sauce. It was a very small amount of hot sauce in a tiny dish and that was fine but we feel that condiments should be included in the price of the meal. Disappointed - felt nickle and dimed.

Best of Kin Social offers awesome food at a reasonable price. The place is welcoming with great beer and fantastic jalapeño poppers. The staff manages large groups with ease and offers incredible suggestions. With amazing food and a variety of local taps, it's highly recommended for anyone in Calgary. The fish and chips are fantastic, and the poutine is a highlight. The celebration sour is awesome, and they offer guest taps. The patio accommodates dogs, which is a plus. The food and beer are great. The tables are bare, unfinished wood, adding to the charm of this cool, local, sophisticated but casual spot. The inside reminds customers of being at Grandma's house when younger with different furniture. The owner, Cole, is incredibly friendly and the server, Katey, is very helpful in guiding customers on what to order. The restaurant's beer is amazing, and the support staff attending beer festivals represent the brand well.
