Pizza was great, the beer was great, the space is nice, but unfortunately the service was poor. My beverage was forgotten. We hoped we would be able to flag someone down but after a long while my partner had to get up to find the server to let him know that I never got my drink. Our food came promptly and it was very good. We would have liked to order an other drink but no one came by to ask us if we wanted anything… Hopefully we get better service next time we go.
Lancaster was smooth aftertaste - good for sitting by the river says JT the bartender. Sampled a couple other drafts - all with their own smooth taste. Ate chips and charred onion dip which went well with the beer. Fitting music. Open area and patio. Coming back again.
One of the best breweries in Calgary. They brew their own beer, and the focus on Czech styles is impressive — clean, authentic, and full of character. The place has a great atmosphere, with staff who really know their craft. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality beer.
