I have had takeout food from them so many times in the last 6 years. Always delicious and so unique. I also visited the restaurant with friends and colleagues. It is very hard to hear that they had to close. I wish they will reopen at another location. Calgary desperately needs more vegan restaurants.

Some of my absolute favourites here have been the crepes, pad thai, vermicelli, and tom yum. Their homemade tofu is honestly the best in the city. Every dish has always felt like it was made with so much love and care.

Tamarind, thank you for the warmth, flavour, and comfort you’ve given us over the years. You’ll be so deeply missed by your loyal community. 🙏💚 We truly hope you’ll open another spot in the future! ****

I had no idea this place even existed it’s a small family owned business. Not too much seating but you can always grab take out. The mango salad was to die for I’ve been twice and so far have not been disappointed.

The food here is absolutely delicious and one of my favourites in Calgary. The veggies and herbs used are fresh and make for some flavourful dishes. The tofu and mock meats are some of the best I’ve ever had. The tom yum soup is a must try. Other favourites are the five spice ramen, sizzling sticky rice, and tofu vermicelli.

The place is temporarily closed till 20th August 2025. Saw a hand written notice pasted on the door. They should have updated on their site.

We had the crispy wonton starter and then a sticky rice dish and a noodle dish for main. There was good variety of veg with each and the mock beef, mock shrimp, and tofu added great texture. All that for around 60 Canadian dollars (including 20% tip)!

Worst customer service. The person at the counter has a Grimm face on. Also they don’t hand over your orders. You are supposed to pick it up which is laying on a table.

Coming to the food, raw vegetables in the soup and the noodles were rubbery. Not recommend.

Also note: They charge 3% on credit cards and 10c on debit cards.

Had the pad Thai and the eggplant stir fry and both were delicious. Service was good too. Would definitely eat here again if ever back in Calgary.
