This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Everything we tried was really good, but you NEED to order the crepe appetizer. Portions are huge and it’s among the lowest I’ve paid for a dinner in a long time.
Tamarind makes delicious vegan Vietnamese dishes like pho and vermicelli. They make their tofu in house daily and their food is delicious! I highly recommend their pad Thai. Today, they were giving out free lunch boxes that consisted of papaya salad, fried rice, salt and pepper tofu, bean curd and eggplant, along with a pumpkin tofu soup. Everything was delicious and I would highly recommend! They also can accomodate gluten free options as well ?.
this has been our favourite restaurant in calgary for years. my husband agrees and he’s not vegetarian!!!
