They don't have a website and seems a little suspicious for a local pizza restaurant that survives on two customers every single day. Maybe I'll stop in for a beer.

Owner uses this place as a tax write off. Doesn't keep up with necessary supplies needed for staff and clientelle and doesn't even pay staff for proper hrs worked! Should report him for that.... Great pizza though and a nice hang out for locals in the area but with a lot of nonsense attitude from the staff too! Time for this place ti go and give us locals here a real place to call home!!!

Tao Pizza & Steak House has a handwritten sign on the entrance to the restaurant that says No Mask No Service. They're equating their position on the mask bylaw to No Shirt No Service. These two positions are far from equivalent.Tao discriminates against persons with an underlying medical condition or disability. In fact, Calgary bylaw #26M2020 states:Exceptions. Section 3 does not apply to:(b) persons with an underlying medical condition or disability which inhibits their ability to wear a face covering;(c) persons who are unable to place, use or remove a face covering safely without assistance. If you agree Tao's Pizza & Steak House position is discrimination against persons with an underlying medical condition or disability, please reach out to the restaurant with your concern.

Fantastic pizza and the most absolutely friendly staff!

Smells like Natural gas in the restaurant enough to make you leave after you walk in. Denise is very unfriendly and is more concerned about her phone and sitting in a booth than the customers.

Had ordered a pizza online for a quick fix while at the office. Showed up a couple minutes early and chatted with the bartender. I recall enjoying their pizza a couple years back and pizza still great. Conversation was good as well. Will certainly be heading back soon for some happy hour.

Friendly wait staff. Service is food. Quality of the pizza is OK.

Formerly known as Paul's pizza, once it became Tao's this place went down. Under Paul, the prices were lower, the pizza's were bigger with more toppings, and the restaurant was packed at lunch and busy after dinner. Now? This place is a ghost town, I don't know how they stay around.

I feel pretty bad for complaining about this place because the waitress was really nice but bad food is bad food ‍♀️ First of all the smell should have been the first sign to turn around and walk out! It smelled of cats or something. The food was oily and soggy cheaply made and definately not fresh. For what we paid we were expecting much better food.

Sat down in an otherwise empty dining room. We helped ourselves to menus and made our pizza choice. After tiring of being totally ignored, we left the dining room as we found it, empty.

I would actually rather not share the details of my experience with this place..

Great pizza and a friendly staff. The decor is a little dated, but that's only because this pub is a hidden gem! It's the type of 'hole-in-the-wall' that you want to visit.
