Nathan provided exceptional service from start to finish. Shoutout to Dillion for checking in on us throughout to ensure we were having a good time. “Great food and a lively vibe! We went during live music on a Friday. The service is great, one gal worked the entire floor with the bartender's assistance. Great drinks and the food is fantastic! Pot stickers, tacos, salads, and the doughnuts were all amazing! Great dinner and entertainment!“

“Food was decent. Best value was the beef tataki. Value isn’t the best here. Service was great and friendly. AThey were prompt but felt crowded cause there was so many staff. Too many staff considering the menu is all online and automated. Not a big fan of the online menu. Definitely better value at many other Japanese/Sushi restaurants. A hamachi kama was on the menu for $42. Every menu item felt 10-15% more than other places. Spent $95 for two people and definitely not full.“

I got the ginger beef and salted caramel milkshake which was amazing and my buddy got the burger and waffle fries with an oreo shake and it was phenomenal! i highly recommend stoping here and giving it a try, you will not be disappointed“

“We went on the recommendation of a friend, and now can’t stop telling everyone we know about what an amazing experience we had. Everything we ordered was so delicious, service was fantastic, and we didn’t feel like we were sitting right on top of the other guests like you do at some restaurants these days. Our sever paced our courses out perfectly, giving us lots of time to chat and digest, and we never felt that we needed to rush through our meal in order for them to turn over the table for new guests. I was so impressed with the measures the waiter and cooking staff took to ensure I didn't come in contact with my food allergies, the sharing plates concept was brilliant, and the food was delicious. “The best culinary experience you could possibly get for the price. The food was prepared with the upmost attention to detail. We did the Yakitori Omakase (15 course meal with drink pairings). The specially reserved seats in front of the kitchen offer a show, not just the meal. Our server Adam provided an 11/10 service, explaining the intricacies of each dish and how the each drink was tied into the given course. They also offer you the option to purchase 3 ounces of the 45 day beeswax aged A5 Waygu (which we also purchased and highly recommend to take in the full experience). You will not leave hungry, or unsatisfied in any way. If you’re in Calgary, you have to visit Shokunin.“

“Sierrah was our server and was literally the greatest. The food was great, but even if it wasn’t I would be back because the service was that good.

“Complimentary breakfast for selected Bonvoy members are served in the 2nd floor at Bistro Novello. Each voucher can be redeemed for one set of breakfast and a coffee or tea, but our serve was nice enough to let us substitute for orange juices instead.

My friend opted for the full breakfast while I went with the berries pancake. Both are freshly prepared and plentiful - more than enough food for both of us.

TIP: you may ask to sit by the window where you get a lot of natural lighting instead of by the bar.“

“Largest selection of wines by the bottle/glass in Calgary. Food improves everytime we go there. Best live jazz on thursdays in Calgary without cover charge. Kids are welcome. Lots of free parking.“
