Taqueria El Charrito is hands down incredible. Delicious, mouth-watering tacos combined with friendly and warm staff, I am excited to continue going back here to work my way through their entire menu.

I was optimistic about the authentic seeming menu and reputation. I had ordered a take-out burrito a couple weeks prior that was fairly good. Decided to try the eat-in experience.Staff and atmosphere was less than friendly.Got the enchiladas, not terrible but pretty bland, very skimpy on the sauce. I could tell that the meat was good quality but it came out lukewarm-cold despite being made on the spot, definitely lacking spice and flavor. The rice and beans weren't bad but didn't make up for the disappointing, cold enchiladas. 3 stars for food because the burrito from the previous experience, but I'd give the enchiladas 2 stars.

I really enjoyed the fish and pork tacos. I also tried barbacoa tacos but I found the fish and pork the most flavourful. The cash register wasn’t working at checkout so the owner was going to give me the food for free (it started working again so I ended up paying anyways). Excellent customer service, and friendly staff :)

Very disappointing experience I ordered a pozole and a Mexican torta and my partner tacos and guacamole. The food had no flavour, it was tasteless, I added a lot of salt to the pozole to make it a bit good, the guacamole was becoming dark, the torta was just a pan francés with pork. My partner’s tacos were made like with old chicken. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The Barria tacos are amazing! Went there for dinner, it was a great environment, good music, good food. Cant make a complaint what so ever, the cornbread is great too!

First impression going in was not good. The staff seemed bothered we were there at 6:30, well before they close at 11 and we were the only customers there the qhole meal. They were not friendly nor welcoming, including the owner. The put our order up on top of the glass participan and never bothered to let us know it was ready and gweting cold. The special for the weekend was pozole, however the hominy didn't taste fresh and the broth was without authentic pozole flavor..basically water with a hint of red. They were not interested in any special requests..told us the meats were pre-cooked so that is how they serve them. Food flavors were well below authentic Mexican. A big a disappointment!
