Food: everything was great - flavourful, various textured, yum! However, dessert was okay and I love cakes.Service: I read other reviews before putting mine and I'm surprised everyone commented about how great the service was, because the service we got was average, not the exceptional service I would look for at high end restaurants.

We definitely enjoyed our date night here. The service and food were impeccable and we will definitely visit again in the future. My fiancé is hoping that the mushroom risotto will be brought back to the menu.

After a couple of so-so experiences a few years back I went back for a business dinner. We all chose the tasting menu. Not one dish made a positive impression. The absolute worst gnocchi I've ever had. Like hands down. But as bad as the food was, it was exponentially better than the service. Holy what a hot mess. Drinks took forever, delivered all at different times, as was the food.I honestly don't know how this restaurant has made it through all these years. Out of the way location for mid food and regrettable service. At least they offered to take our coats...

When we arrived, we were harassed by three waiters, after which it was the opposite, the service fell to neutral. I don't understand how there can be so many people in the kitchen, so few customers, and take so long to bring out the dishes. We ate ultra-salty Bolognese pasta, almost inedible. Dessert, an inedible crème brûlée, more sugar than cream.

Realizing I hadn't eaten yet, I stopped by on a Wednesday, somewhat after lunchtime, to grab a bite between meetings with several of my clients in the downtown core.I had the carrot and ginger soup and some green tea. It was all perfect. Quiet, great service, lovely food, nice environment.
Very charming dining room, friendly staff immediately offered to hang our coats. We had a view of the kitchen which I always love to watch! And the food was amazing, we started with the seared scallops and Caesar salad. The celeriac puree with the scallops was so smooth and the pickled apples added a delightful crunch. The anchovies in the Caesar actually tasted like fish, no oily canned anchovies here! For mains we shared the seafood lasagna and beef tenderloin, and they were also amazing! The fish in the lasagna was perfectly cooked as was the tenderloin! The charred green onion was a delicious garnish and the involtini di cavolo was divine! Finally dessert, we tried the raspberry lemon entremet, and (can't remember the name) roasted pear with chevre cremeux. I can't say enough good things about both desserts but the chevre cremeux was to die for, lovely texture and flavour. Such a delightful evening and dinner overall!

We went for the oyster experience with chef selection and what we arrived for wad a very limited menu where the food just was not very tasty. Oysters were great, potato dauphine was good, everything else was sub par. Steak was tough, langoustine was off. Just an overall disappointing experience.

This was an excellent pop up event for YYC food and drink. The seafood dishes were authentic and perfectly fine with lots of variety. We definitely prefered the east coast oysters to the west coast oysters.

We had a team dinner at Teatro two days ago, the food was great and mist of us ordered ribeye which cooked to perfection and tasted so good! The service and ambiance were great!
The service was excellent. The food was superb, well executed above the regular since while the menu items we chose could be found in the menus of at least 30 restaurants in a 5 block radius, probably only one other might have prepared them as well. The prices were high for food to excessively high for the wine list. It is loud between the open kitchen and very high ceilings. While a previous visit a few years ago left us indifferent at best, this kitchen and up front staff have made us desirous of a return sooner than later
Dessert was amazing.
