Thai Thien is the BEST! I’ve been getting food from here for years. Whenever we’re sick I order #23 and my husband orders #25 for a week straight and we’re brought back to life! Their subs are delicious too. My fav is the sate beef with all toppings. It’s super affordable and great when you’re downtown. Heads up to order online in advance - it’s SUPER busy at lunch and right after work hours.

I did take out and I was expecting small portions due to the price. I was wrong! I ordered the lemongrass beef sandwich and pork spring rolls. Everything was delicious and I had to share with my husband since the portions were generous. I'm already looking forward to go back tomorrow for lunch.

Great little spot for Vietnamese subs, hot soups and finger foods. Prices are very cheap and reasonable, the foods nothing fancy but it's good and filling and a great deal for what you pay. I got lemongrass beef sub for $6.15 and you can choose to add carrots, cucumber, onions, Thai sauce and hot sauce. Everything on the menu is $10 or under!

We’ve visited this place at least 10 times, and we’ve always made sure to leave tips and clean our tables after eating. While the food has generally been okay, the service continues to decline. On this occasion, we decided to try their bubble tea for the first time, but the staff's response was frustrating. When we asked to order, we were told, "maybe not now, we're already packed." Honestly, how long does it take to make a smoothie?
We’ve always been patient, even when it takes more than 20 minutes for our food to arrive. However, we were really upset when customers who ordered bubble tea just a few minutes before us (not takeout orders, but customers who also lined up) were served bubble teas right away. Maybe if you're white, you'll get boba right away and won't have to wait 20 minutes. It felt like the staff had no interest in taking our order or treating us with the same respect. It’s disappointing to see such a decline in service, especially after multiple visits. We may need to rethink whether we want to return.

Service was really bad during lunch hour. People coming after me get served before. They just keep saying people order on line which was not the case. You wait for a lot. I truly think they do discriminate people while serving and I am not the only one saying that.

Yep, price is unbeatable downtown and the lineup proves it. I won't say it's the #1 tasting sub downtown, but it's still very, very, good and where else can you get something cheaper than a coffee today? Lots of folks order ahead so there's probably more people waiting than what you can see. I'm here probably twice a month, and will continue doing so!
