The short rib was absolutely amazing 😊 . Loved the environment and the overall theme of the restaurant.

Our party of four were all very happy myself. I ordered the jerk chicken and didn't live anything. The seasonings almost reminded me of a jerk flavour profile but not quite there. The mango chutney was good butt not great. And the dirty rice was also good but not great. I was able to taste my fellow dinner mates food and their food was all over the top great. But my chicken was dry and under seasoned (for Jerk) . I must add that our service was excellent!! Especially the gentleman from the Romaine. I think he was running good. Soooo pleasant!

We haven't gone here in a long time but I'm glad we did for my dad's 70th! Nick was great as our server and the food was delicious. The meats were well prepared but we actually loved the other dishes Guild offers like the pull apart buns, the beet salad and the shrimp risotto. It was a great night and my dad was happy - thanks!

Lovely staff who were there to help and advise on menue selections and make sure we had the best dining experience

We were very pleased with the food, and the birthday celebration desert was the top of the night. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The first table where we were seated was quite chilly so they graciously moved us. From that point Connor our server was fantastic, we enjoyed our birthday visit which was the first time visiting The Guild. We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure. We found it interesting that the restaurant is an old Bay. We enjoyed that we could still see bits and pieces of the past. Thanks Connor for a great evening. Suzanne Stevens

The service was amazing, 3/4 of us ordered the tenderloin steaks and none of them came out cooked to the requested rare or medium rare. I would recommend ordering a lower temperature than you normally would to get the requested cook on your steak. Otherwise great service and drinks.

We celebrated my father-in-law's 80th birthday at The Guild, and honestly, it was an excellent evening. There were 10 of us, and the food and service were both top-notch. Our waitress was absolutely amazing — the kind of person who remembers everyone's drink, keeps the jokes flowing, and somehow manages to make you feel like you're the only table in the place. Now, about that cake cutting fee. Apparently, it's $3 per person — yes, to cut a cake that I didn't even ask anyone to cut. I mean, what's next? A fee to blow out the candles? A surcharge for singing “Happy Birthday”? 😂 Thankfully, the manager at The Guild was a total professional and waived the fee when we explained we hadn't been told about it in advance (we booked through OpenTable, so it was news to us). All jokes aside, it was a wonderful night — great company, amazing service, and food worth every bite. The Guild definitely delivered... minus the cake drama! 🎂

Got the porterhouse and tenderloin medium rare and carved up family style was great with the truffle fries, Brussel sprouts and broccolini. Great service too. Thank you

Waiter inquired whether we had to be back by a certain time and they accommodated us by ensuring the food came out quickly so we could make a meeting.

The food and service were good. It is a trendy restaurant in downtown Calgary. Our grandson chose it for his Birthday Dinner location. The waitress was very attentive and did come with dessert menus for the Birthday Celebrations but we were all too full. The spinach dip was just excellent as well as the fried Kraft dinner which seems odd but true. I would recommend this restaurant.

Came here a second time, and absolutely loved it. Great food and great service. Samantha was amazing.
Edit: came back a third time and the waiter asked if I wanted truffle fries. Said yes. But he didn’t mention it’s $5 extra. Well, you’re not in the Balkans so drop the scam.
