The bannock and the perogies were delicious but expensive for what you get - $17 for 4 potato perogies and $10 for bread and butter that many restaurants would provide for free. The server was trying her best but hadn't been trained well. The pop tasted like there may have been cleaner mixed in with it. We've had lovely meals at Heritage Park and I was really hoping this would be one of them.

Excellent place for great steaks and service! The roast is always on point and the sides are always done to perfection!
Love the setting in the vintage village square, along with the free parking (register in the restaurant). Service was prompt and friendly, and the food excellent. I had the mushroom chicken gnocchi , and would highly recommend!
Echoing other reviews.. I wanted to love it, but now I’ll not be back.
Terrible service. Every staff on duty looked like it was the last place they wanted to be - they mostly huddled near the entrance gossiping, and making it uncomfortable to try and walk past them. Watching them work was like watching a glacier. Painfully slow.
The hostess had disappeared so a sever stepped in to help us - but not before finishing his lengthy conversation with one of his friends.
The music nearly made us fall asleep.
Took about 10 minutes to get water (the restaurant was about 1/4 full)
They were out of pierogies, and kids hot dogs. Ok, fine. The kids burgers looked like hockey pucks. Gravy came out with a thick skin on it, so it had clearly been sitting for quite some time. The Reuben was incredibly underwhelming. The French onion soup was ok - but it was so oversaturated with croutons, there wasn’t a single drop of soup.
Felt like we were intruding on the staff by being there, honestly. Too bad.

Absolutely beautiful spot!! We had a lovely lunch with our Mother...food was yummy, atmosphere was great, and our waiter Allen was exceptional!! We will definitely be back in 2026.
Our table for two was at the front door that we felt was once a closet. Every person entering had to stand and wait right beside our table and then pass around the corner to the main room. Our server tried hard but kept forgetting about us in the closet. We will not be back.
This was a small family birthday party -- and our server Allan rose to the occasion! Very helpful and generous with the children, cake cutting, etc. Especially appreciated as restaurant was very busy.
Our group of 5 waited for an hour. I kept looking for our hostess but she was not be found. After an hour she returned to our table to tell us the kitchen didn't get our order. We got up and left. I won one going back there.
Allan took absolutely fantastic care of our table; attentive, fun to have around and very professional. The food was great and atmosphere festive and lovely. Will definitely go back.

Nice place. Pricey for the food. Fish and chips soggy. Kale salad and salmon great. Great service.

Batter on fish & chips was overpowering. I am used to crispy batter on fish & chips. Chips themselves were excellent.
Was not happy with quality of food, steak sandwich was extremely tough. Service was inadequate, was far to thirsty as they never came by.
This restaurant was perfect for us. Mellow and great food. Our server was very attentive, knowledgeable, and kind to our little granddaughter.
Moderate Price for a Tourist Location. Very friendly staff that are open and Courteous. Food quality was excellent, and fast. Very happy with our visit!
Perfect start to the ghost walk. Dd mostly applies and they were all excellent.
