We visited for my birthday and while the host kindly confirmed our celebration upon arrival, our server never acknowledged it and we ended up paying full price for dessert, which was a little disappointing. Unfortunately, the service overall fell short of expectations. Our server was curt, seemed impatient, and wasn't particularly helpful when we asked about the menu. This was disappointing considering we were a small party of four and spent over $500 between us. That said, the food itself was excellent — beautifully presented and full of flavour. The drinks were creative and unique. Everything from the ambiance to the plating was lovely, but as much as we appreciated the culinary experience, the service really made the evening feel less special. It's a shame, because the food alone would have us coming back, but based on this experience, we're not sure we would return.

I'm not often a downtown kind of person, also having to be gluten free makes things challenging sometimes. The fried chicken here is unbelievable. So tasty, crispy, flavourful and gluten free I'm a gluten free fryer! I also enjoyed the grilled shishito peppers. Add a tasty cocktail and a fun atmosphere and it was an amazing night out.

We have a lovely time at The Wednesday Room! All the vegan and vegetarian dishes we ordered were great and well thought of, and the restaurant had wonderful ambiance and service for dinner!

We had made a reservation and indicated on the reso that I have a nut allergy. When we sat down it took 10 minutes to be served. Gabby came by to see if we were waiting on something and after realizing we hadn't been helped she took over. She was an excellent server. Unfortunately we ordered the burrata and specifically confirmed it could be done without the hazelnut. Gabby clearly indicated that to the kitchen (it showed on the bill), but the kitchen made it with the hazelnut and the person who ran the food didn't notice either. Thankfully I did notice or it could have killed me. Our entrees were all tasty and Gabby took excellent care of us, but the lack of care on part of the kitchen and food runner has ensured I'll never return.

Great food, great atmosphere. I recommend Basement over Livingroom for the ambience! But both have great food and service so you're good either way! Great for a date or chillin with friends (what we did). Make sure to make resos for weekends.

Very good and delicious food, brought out in a timely manor. Very good service overall. Did not give 5 because server spilt water while pouring it and acknowledged it for the person sitting across me but did not wipe it up on my end or give me another napkin so it was wet. Also because we requested basement seating and were sat in living room (it looked like or bar? area).
