Always loved staying at Westin Calgary. This time, we were assisted by Jose and Bless from Front Desk. We immediately felt welcome and at home as soon we entered the building. We’re definitely coming back!

The Westin Calgary was a fantastic home base for all of our out‑of‑town guests during our wedding weekend, and we were really happy with how smoothly everything went. The hotel was affordable, clean, and incredibly accommodating throughout the weekend. It was very conveniently located in the downtown core, close to all of our event venues. We heard rave reviews from our guests about the newly renovated pool, gym, and sauna. The Crown Suite was also a huge hit — we used it as a gathering point for family and friends, and it worked perfectly for hosting meals and spending time together between events.
The team was great to work with, especially Daniela, who was consistently fast, clear, and helpful in her communication. The hotel was also impressively flexible in the moment. We were able to add a few extra rooms at the group rate on the spot, and they even secured an additional conference room for us when we needed it. Parking was reasonable and readily available, which is no small thing in the downtown core.
The only drawback is that the rooms are slightly small and a bit older, but given the price point and overall experience, it’s hard to view that as a major complaint.
Overall, The Westin Calgary was a reliable, comfortable, and well‑run option for our wedding guests, and we’re glad we chose it for our hotel block.

Did not get a room, as I was here for a Christmas Gala. The staff are amazing. But the venue is a little outdated. Needs some updating.

Amazing hotel, clean, comfortable bed and pillows (which is hard to find!) we stayed in the junior suite and loved it. Wish the tub in our room was a bit nicer BUT the pool and sauna downstairs more than made up for it!! So stunning!!!

Stayed here with my company. Hotel and front staff were nice. Next day, I had gone down to eat at the breakfast place owned by the hotel. For the price they charge, everything should be quality, including the service. I had eaten my entire meal before being offered coffee and the pancakes were rock hard. They remind me of the ones you would get out of the frozen food isle. Much improvement needed to this portion of the establishment.

The hotel is in a good location, close to many restaurants and a shopping center, but the hotel is very old, and I did not feel safe; I did not see a single security guard during my entire stay. The room was constantly cold, the windows did not close completely, the water was cold, and it was very dark in the room. I was also unable to connect to the internet. Some of the staff ignored my requests because my English is not very good. But the room cleaning was excellent, and the food in the restaurant was good. It was very good that one of the cleaning staff, a young blonde girl, spoke Polish and was able to help me and satisfy all my requests. Overall, I was very pleased that someone in this place spoke my language and treated me well

Really disappointed that an established and successful hotel chain has single use cups in each of the room - just buy a basic ceramic mug
Beautiful and luxurious, great neighbouring restaurants and attentive staff. Only critique would be the amount of plastic and waste produced for drinks in the room. Coffee cups wrapped in plastic are replaced daily. Would be great to see this improve. Otherwise a great stay!

Stayed at The Westin Calgary — overall a solid experience. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff are friendly and professional. On-site dining is convenient with a café, bistro, and The Keg. Location downtown is excellent for walking to shops and attractions.
Some areas feel a bit dated, and parking is expensive (self-parking CAD 32/night, valet CAD 45/night). Despite minor drawbacks, it’s a reliable choice for business or leisure stays.
For North American standards it’s a 4 star hotel for international travelers , this’s 3.5 star hotel

Every time I'm staying downtown Calgary, I stay at the Westin, they're great, kind and considerate. Plus, the let me park out front because my truck doesn't fit in the underground.

The only critique I have is concerning the washroom, which was quite compact, I kept banging my elbows in the shower. Not a deal breaker, but something to keep in mind.
