Service was very good however two dishes that we ordered were terribly over salted. Unfortunately we couldn't finish our dishes because of it and left hangry. You would expect better prepared food when your bill is around $500. Won't be back.

Great for date night and special occasions. Quality chef-level creations, excellent wine pairings, attentive service, great views and setting.

It took two and a half hours for our meal to be served... we had to wait up to 30 minutes between each course. The staff was unapologetic and could care less.

We dined in during valentines day with set menu. Everything was delicious specially the The Brassicas and Opulence of the seas. In the menu it said there was supposed to be a dish called From the prairie but was not serve and seems other table didn't have them. But overall it was a great experience.

Sadly I don't remember our server's name, but I do know that this was our second time served by her and both times were wonderful experiences! Thank you!🙂

We are staying at the Hotel before we head to Bamph. We talked to the Manager in afternoon he suggested we take a 6pm reservation and doing so he brought out the Chef he talked about the Menu so we made our reservation and we came back at 6pm sat and had a drink before dinner which enjoyed and sat in the restaurant our Server she was wonderful helped guide us through the Menu we chose not to use the tasting menu of course we asked for Suggestions told us her favorite was the Duck breast and Halibut we chose those also had the deviled egg and Mushroom soup both amazing the Halibut was very good the Duck breast was the best I ever had tasted like prime beef both entrees had a purree sauce it was spectacular shout to our server also the server that brought our dishes out she also explained in detail what each dish was . I had read a lot of reviews especially the negative lousy servers slow on dinner and disrespectful loved the slower service we are used the speed in US slamming the food out I can't remember there names but they were great and yes we were full when we left. Thank-You

This was my second time dining at The Wilde on 27, the first time for lunch. The Wilde on 27 is a beautiful restaurant, with an elegant ambience and stunning views of the downtown Calgary skyline. Unfortunately, the quality of service and food that I received today during lunch was sub-par for the level of status this restaurant proclaims. I was dining with a group, and each item had been preselected and the kitchen notified well before our arrival (read: weeks ahead of time). Our appetizers took nearly 40 minutes to arrive after we had been seated. Our mains a further hour from that. I had pre-selected the British Fish and Chips. By the time every member of our party had received their mains the batter on my fish was soggy and the caviar was mushy and did not have any of the satisfying *pop* texture I would expect from quality caviar. It was disappointing, to say the least. Due to the slow service several members of the party had to ask for their meals to go, and more than half of us had to ask for the desserts in to-go bags before they were served. All in all, from arrival to departure it took more than 3 hours - for LUNCH. I loved my dinner when I came to The Wilde on 27 the last time, but I cannot and will not recommend this restaurant for lunch unless you have cleared your entire afternoon and have the means to spend a leisurely 3+ hours there. Perhaps skip the fish and chips as well.

What a super fun evening! We were totally surprised by the cocktail presentations. So whimsical and creative, and the cocktails are delicious. Great vibe, great service, great cocktails, great memories.

I took my wife and four daughters for a brunch to celebrate my wife's birthday which was noted in the reservation. We ordered drinks which didn't come until we asked wear are the drinks after 15 minutes (how long does it take to make a Misosma?), this happened with each order. Then to top off the slow service they charge me a mandatory 20% gratuity and the level of service didn't reflect that. We are a family and previous visits we wenot charged that rate and got to select our tip based on the level of service. The service was so slow my family was frustrated and were begging to leave so I couldn't even challenge the mandatory 20% tip. Previous experiences have always been 5 star so it's disappointing that the level of service has dropped to this level. The place used to be amazing but not it's just another “hotel restaurant“. Although the food was amazing at this price point and the level of service I would recommend checking out other restaurants.

What an exceptional dining experience! Went to The Wilde on 27 for our wedding anniversary, met the chef, got the royal treatment from all staff and even detailed recommendations from the sommelier. The chef's five course dinner with wine pairings is an out of this world experience.

"Our evening at The Wilde was nothing short of spectacular. We were a party of five, and since we each ordered different appetizers and entrees, we were able to experience a wide breadth of the menu. Every single dish was delectable, creative, and mouth-watering. A huge thank you to the Chef de Cuisine, the culinary genius behind these flavors, and the incredible staff who made our night so memorable. If you are looking for a dining experience that balances innovation with perfect execution, this is it."

We enjoyed the most delicious appetizers in the lounge. Scallops, duck croquettes, cauliflower and trout were outstanding! Can't wait to return.
