This place has new owners now and I had the Super and Sate Beef. Both were delicious just like before if not better. What makes their sub stand out from any Viet sub in Calgary is their mild spicy sauce and cheese. I just couldn't put it down once I started eating it.If you haven't been here recently or never had it. I recommend you come and try it out.Like any business, under new owners they have the passion and energy to make this place even better!

I was introduced to this place in the early 2000’s when I worked a block away. Ever since then, every time I visit Calgary, we always make time for Thi Thi. Whether it’s the sate chicken, beef or rib you win. Always delicious!Any time someone even mentions Calgary, I bring Thi Thi into the conversation and either they’ve been or Thi Thi gets a new customer.
I absolutely love this place! The new owners are awesome. I have been coming to this place for years and they have maintained the excellent customer service, as well as the quality of the subs. Hands down the best Vietnamese sub I've ever had anywhere!

It's been a while since I last came here, but I used to be a regular. Heard they got new owners, so I thought I'd swing by today. Ordered both the satay beef and satay chicken subs, and I'm happy to report they're still as tasty as ever. Actually, the chicken one is even better now. It's late, but I'm still munching on the leftover beef sub,and it's holding up well in the flavor department, even after a few hours.?

Their sub is really fresh and delicious. This is totally beyond my expectation. I like the flavor and the texture. It is a little bit spicy, but matches to its flavor. However, if you cannot eat spicy food, ask them not to put the pepers for you. Overall, this is really good sub and I will visit again!

This place has the best viet subs in Calgary. I ordered a sate chicken and it was delicious the chicken was very tender and a little spicy, all the flavours were perfectly balanced out.These new owners are amazing! Love this place

I reviewed this place a while ago, it was the the best subs in town, I would drive long distances just for a Vietnamese thi thi sub, non the less today March 15th 2024 I was surprised to find out new owners have taken over the restaurant, I bought a sate chicken just to be left extremely disappointed, very little chicken, almost non, same for the rest of the ingredients, and Yeap taste was just not there, very sad the original owners have left, should have left the restaurant to his children whom I think they would have continued to prepare the same good quality and delicious sandwiches as the parents, the new owners don’t seem to be too invested into giving quality, feels more as they just want to make the most money possible by cutting down on the ingredients, would no longer stop by to grab a sub that is just meh like in any other place. To the original owners I wish them a happy and great retirement, thank you for feeding us and delighted us for over 30 yrs, I was their customer since 1990

Used to be the best place in Calgary for Viet subs and have been coming here for past 15yrs. Been craving for Viet sub so decided to go grab one today and to find out the original owner has retired. Still decide to give it a try to see if the new owner can keep the consistency from the previous owner. I got the assorted and saty beef as usual. Turns out disappointed. The bread no longer has that airy crunchyness to it and the taste is no longer the same.

I haven’t been here in a while, my friend bought me pepper beef sub when we visit downtown. I really love it, the toasted French baguette very crispy, and beef also very tender. it is the best Vietnamese sub I ever had.

Went here because everyone said it was the best. I'm from California where there's tons of vietnamese banh mi shops. I can honestly say giving this a 3 star is generous in my opinion.The bread didn't taste fresh. You can tell from the the bin. The mayo wasn't buttery or it was masked by the cheese... Cheese in a banh mi, well wasn't what I was hoping for. It took away from the banh mi in my opinion. When I asked what kind of cheese they used...the girl behind the counter answered...ummm regular cheese? And gave me that look like I'm stupid. Didn't appreciate that...I had the super chicken and beef, sausage, and the chicken sate. Everything was just ok...there was nothing super about the super. When I ordered in the vietnamese Cha Lua for sausage. Again the girl gave me a terrible look like I was stupid and said what!?!?! You don't know your own menu?! Then why post it? The Sate was dry. Veggies were good though. For me... This place wouldn't be worth waiting in line for.
