Great value. Very prompt and efficient service. Relaxed and calm atmosphere. Vietnamese subs are also sweet. Recommend.

Not bad. So many options, we thought the beef was quite good but the chicken wasn't as great. Service was just ok, we didn't get napkins or plates for the appetizers right away, and not a lot of water, The table was sticky when we arrived. Our orders came out quite fast and everything is reasonably priced.

My partner (Caucasian) and I (Vietnamese) live nearby, and at one point we were eating at Treasure of Saigon literally every day and sometimes even twice a day. The staff even started joking with us like, “Long time no see!” That’s how good the food is. Their $15 lunch special is unbeatable: one appetizer, one drink, and a full-sized entrée. Total steal.
I was born and raised in Vietnam, and my family has deep roots in Vietnamese cuisine. I’m super picky when it comes to authentic flavours, and I can confidently say the food here hits the mark. You just need to know what to order. Here are our go-to dishes:
1. Pho with Peanut Satay Broth – Our #1 favorite. I usually get it with brisket and tripe and extra meat. That peanut satay broth is everything, not the regular satay, but the special peanut satay. It’s so good I keep forgetting to take pics before devouring it.
2. Satay Beef Stir-Fry Noodles with Soft Noodles – Hearty, flavorful, and perfectly spicy.
3. Special Beef Rolls – These are genius. They roll and fry rice paper wrappers and then wrap those inside fresh salad rolls. Crunchy, juicy, refreshing, kinda like sushi rolls with tempura in the middle but way better.
4. Banh Mi – Consistently fresh and full of flavor.
5. Homemade Flan – A must. Creamy, rich, and just sweet enough.
6. Avocado Milkshake – Always a solid choice at any Viet spot.
7. Most rice and vermicelli noodle dishes – Solid across the board.
I haven’t tried the wontons yet but definitely plan to. If you’re in the area or just craving real-deal Vietnamese food, this place is worth it every time. Ask for their house special sate to make your dishes tastier!

Medicore pho considering how much Calgary has to offer. The portions are small and the soup base is bland compared to other pho places. The service used to be great, but the new staff has been poor.

Favourite mom and pop pho shop. The less common dishes like the rice wraps and rice dishes and bun bo hue and rare beef ripe pho are a hit always. The better Asian restaurants are the ones who don’t have “as good reviews” as the western ones. Their service and price here can’t be beat. It’s a staple in our household here, we come at least every 2-3 weeks!
