“Awesome spot to get amazing gluten free / gluten friendly pancakes and waffles. Our waitress was great at listing and knowing what items I could have as a celiac and to limit any possible cross contamination. I really appreciated her diligence. Gluten free toast was actually delicious with their house made jam.

Call to check the waitlist though, for some reason the online thing didn't work for us. It said there was no waitlist and that was in fact wrong. Still worth the wait though.“

“My best friend and I occasionally meet up at the Crowfoot Denny’s for breakfast. This was a similar occasion and as always the breakfast was excellent, that goes as well for the service. Karen was very attentive when it came to making sure we had enough coffee and getting our breakfast to the table in a timely manner. She was very polite, and professional. Denny’s at Crowfoor is a great place to meet up with friends for excellent food and great conversation.“

“It was a perfect breakfast for the three of us before we dropped out daughter off at the airport. I had my traditional two eggs over easy with toast sausage and bacon. The two others had some wonderful eggs-benny. My eggs were perfect, the toast was perfect, the bacon was crispy, and the sausages were spicy and succulent, making for a delicious meal. Arlene was wonderful throughout the whole meal so thanks to her especially!“

“My daughter and I dined at 530pm yesterday, May 24th 2025. We chose to sit in the dining room. We were lead to a table by the fireplace under a great chandelier. The ambiance of Joey Crowfoot is lively and warm. Comfortable seating, perfectly sized tables, and excellent lighting. Our server, whose name I can't recall - tall dark and handsome and a theater major - was attentive and friendly. The food we had was absolutely incredible. We chose goyza dumplings to start which were so flavourful and perfectly cooked. My daughter ordered the hamburger and fries and even with her braces bothering her, she demolished. My blackened chicken with warm potato salad was hands down the BEST meal I've had in a restaurant in a long, long time. I will be dreaming of that salad until I can get back there again !!“

“We had been looking to replace our ‘go-to’ East Indian option, after our longstanding restaurant sold their business (menu change sadly no longer lived up to expectation.) After venturing to try a few new restaurants, we continued to be met with disappointment. It was then recommended by my physio therapist to try Masala Art. And glad we made the trek on a cold winter Sunday night to support small family owned business. We were met with a gracious welcome. Atmosphere was simple, yet cozy. The service was top notch and very attentive. The samosas were fresh and flavourful, sauces were fresh and the Naan was absolutely classic and hot sizzling of the chef’s station. The veg korma vegetables tasted fresh and leftovers the next day, the flavours melded together even better! The staff and chef were inquisitive to the flavour satisfaction amidst our dining, we felt they picked a suitable spice level for our tolerance and were intuitively precise. I hope to see this business thrive as it is well deserved. I recommend even quantity items of samosa as I have a hard time arm wrestling over the 3rd Samosa, lol.“

“The food was delicious! It was my first time going and I would definitely go back. It's not a very big restaurant but they do have a patio that we ate out on. I had the California Classic hamburger and shared an order of the fries. Both the regular fries and the coney fries are good and perfect size for sharing. I also appreciated the wet wipe they serve with their burgers.“

“I had dinner tonight at The Himalayan (17 Ave SW). It was my first time here, and only my second Nepalese restaurant I’ve been to. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable and very kind. The restaurant is clean, and intimate. Parking isn’t ideal, but that’s not their fault! I started with the pork momos as an appetizer. They were excellent, but quite expensive ($16 for six regular-sized dumplings). The flavour was great, and they tasted very fresh. For my main, I had Chicken Dal Bhatt, which came with three small dishes of meat and curry and lentils, along with rice, naan and some side dishes. Each of the individual dishes had incredible flavour. They were also hot and fresh, as were the momos. The meal was served on a metal platter, and the small bowls were also metal. It was beautifully presented. As soon as I finished my main meal, the waiter offered me a chai and mango pudding (included in the meal). The chai was aromatic and spicy and earthy and amazing! The mango pudding was icy cold (also in a metal dish), and hit the spot at the end of the meal. For my appetizer and main meal, I opted for mild / zero spice. Everything was so flavourful I don’t regret this decision. However next time, I’ll live a little and try the medium heat. Overall, this was a 10/10 for me and I’m really glad I had the chance to try out this restaurant!!“

“Came on a weekday, which was perfect because weekends here get very busy — expect a bit of a wait then. The absolute standout was the service. Every staff member was so kind, upbeat, and welcoming, and our food arrived hot and incredibly fast.

The atmosphere isn’t quite my style — it has an eclectic, diner-like vibe — and the menu felt a little overwhelming with so many flavours and options happening at once. That said, I can see why the variety appeals to a lot of people.
