We were so happy to be part of the last lunch service at D.O.P.! I'd been promising my husband for years that we would have a date night here after my first experience with friends but life got in the way. Loved our dinner there last night. We got in just before they closed for the move to Marfa Loop. We tried the caponata, green tomatoes, sardines, bread, raviolo, and mushroom pasta. All were excellent, the least exciting dish was the mushroom pasta, but still good. The tiramisu was delicious and a huge portion. Great drinks as well. We look forward to them reopening!

Our server was excellent- warm and welcoming. Started with the panzanella salad with the added ingredient of peaches- Mouth watering, superb. Followed with the spaghetti with mushrooms- perfection on a plate. As it was a birthday celebration, my friend was presented with tiramisu compliments of the restaurant. So good! Such a perfect celebration. My favourite restaurant. Look forward to my next visit!

The most wonderful vibe from start to finish.. The staff was so welcoming and the chefs delivered. Every drink and food item recommendation was beyond expectation. I highly recommend going with what they say.. the spicy pasta and small plates were crazy. I'll be back ASAP. Also the bartender made an amazing dirty martini, and the wine pairings were next level. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making our evening effortless by guiding us through their "mangia bene" set menu option. This allowed us to sit back, relax, and enjoy a curated selection of dishes paired perfectly with incredible wines. Being part of a larger party, we were fortunate enough to sample a wide variety of their menu. Some standout highlights for me included the Sracciatella, nduja spread, pickled green tomatoes, and the smoked beef fat cracker—each dish was bursting with flavor and creativity. The pastas were simply divine, and the veal chop parm was an absolute showstopper. The venue itself is romantic and cozy, with the perfect lighting to set the mood for an intimate meal with friends. I can't recommend D.O.P highly enough—10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Calgary.

DOP was absolutely phenomenal! Every single dish we had was amazing. My partner and I travel for food, and the trek from Edmonton was worth it! You MUST try the tiramisu- it'll knock your socks off. The staff were very attentive and friendly, giving it a very homey but energetic vibe. Highly recommend

Food and service were excellent! Worth going and ordering a bunch of dishes to share. The venues was nice but loud and very hot (despite having AC on)! However they are moving very soon so hopefully the new location will be more comfortable in hot summer months!

What a fantastic experience. We did the set menu and even let the waitress pick our drinks for us. They asked us a few questions about our preferences and then they took care of the rest. It was such a fun experience and the food was incredible. Great atmosphere: low lighting and loud hip hop music. 10/10.

I love the smallness of the restaurant, it really makes you feel like you're eating at someone's house. Our server was absolutely incredible. We told them it was our anniversary and they gave us some champagne on the house. The food was unreal. How do you make BREAD taste so good?! We ordered lots of food off the menu and everything came out perfect. We said we were too full for dessert but they gave us a tiramisu to take home.. on the house. It was truly one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had. When they open their new location, we will definitely be back!
