Only place in the city I can find coconut coffee and it is awesome!!
The service that my child received on May 22, around 3:00 PM was extremely unsatisfactory. Although we acknowledge that there may have been an initial communication error, my child received the wrong order and politely asked for it to be exchanged.
Instead of handling the situation with basic customer service and flexibility, the employee completely declined to exchange the drink. Instead, he stated that he would only allow 50% off to purchase the correct order.
Expecting a child to pay extra to fix a mistake—regardless of how the communication mix-up happened—is incredibly poor service and frankly unacceptable. A simple drink exchange would have easily resolved the issue, but instead, we left disappointed. We will not be returning to this location.
Not authentic Xing Fu Tang
I’m on a transcontinental journey of sampling as many Xing Fu Tangs as I can find (most recently Australia/Singapore/NYC). I was excited to find one in Calgary. Unfortunately this one is not authentic (perhaps it was authentic once upon a time as the boba wok and some of the signage looks legit?). The shop is inside Asian supermarket complex. The boba is not the trademark soft and chewy boba of Xing Fu Tang and the drinks containers are not authentic at all. The Flavour is meh. This shop is spoiling the reputation of iconic bubble tea chain.
Cool place 👌
I don't know how it's possible, but this branch is fake somehow. I'm used to seeing a big wok with warm, fresh pearls in bubbling brown sugar, but there wasn't anything like that here. In fact, they pulled a cup with pearls and ice directly from the fridge.
I got a large and tipped the smallest option, so ended up paying $10.50 for the most disappointing cup of stale sugar of my life.
Worst bubble tea in Calgary NGL
Pearls were not cooked through or they were stale. Drink was not very good. Wouldn’t recommend.
Up to standard
Got the signature brown sugar pearl milk tea here and it was the worst I have ever had. They put too much milk so the flavour was extremely bland. Definitely would not recommend bubble tea from here.
I bought 4 drinks total, the signature brown sugar milk did not show as “brown sugar”. It was more of milk foam. When I visited Taiwan and had the exact same drink it was great. This was not bad but lacking of brown sugar and pearls. Overall, my craving was satisfied for a milk tea drink.

Always has fast service, great taste. me and my partner love the new honeydew flavored drinks
Very nice, always fresh
It's our first time here and the last time too. It's the priciest, very pale looking, tasteless taro bubble tea I had ever bought. I bought two Taro bubble smoothie and one Jelly Bunny Mango smoothie. The Taro bubble tea was just a milk smoothie. Not even a faint taste of taro. The mango smoothie, while the presentation was very cute, the taste was disappointing too. Didn’t taste like mango at all! My son said it tasted like perfume. The smoothies just ended up in the garbage, we couldn't finish it. Wasted $24!
We love this place, multiple time come back. Nice staff good drink
Felt a sick after having the drink here.
Only Xing Fu Tang in name and menu. Not at all up to the quality of what this boba tea chain is known for.
The brown sugar boba was hard and undercooked. Its usually served warm by the pot they cook it in, but instead of chewy and warm it was hard and cold.
The tea was not fresh. The drink was premixed and worker just took it from the fridge and poured it together. Did not bother to ask ice and sugar. Not sure how long the combined milk and tea was sitting there but the taste was not pleasant and far from what I’m used to with other Xing Fu Tang branches.
The boba packaging is even different, using a cheap soft cup rather than the rounded boba cups.
