“Was in town for a few days working with a film crew. Let me tell you, Grasshopper restaurant is a Calmar must! Not only are you greeted by the friendliest husband and wife duo, you also get very large portions for what you pay for. They were extremely attentive to our large order and offered service with a smile. The donair sub I had at lunch was very filling, the next day I came back and tried their delicious pizza! If you are passing thru or stopping by, be sure to try grasshopper restaurant! Ill be sure to come back!”

“Was very impressed by how clean the place was! The lady at the counter was very helpful at explaining the menu. The food was fantastic. The one thing I did notice being a former restaurant and bar worker, was the fryer oil was very fresh. Everything i ordered that was deep fried tasted like it was supposed to!! “Came here on a Friday with my gal. Good was really good! Highly recommend the jalapeno poppers, they are homemade. I had the bacon cheeseburger it was awesome, reminded me of the burgers when I was a rink rat. Service was exceptional. 10/10 for a little pub!”

“Four of us was just in and had the dinner for 4 people, deep fried wontons and the wonton soup. The ginger beef was good have no complaints about that or any of the food. The lady was super nice and good to chat with. Everyone left with full belly’s. We will definitely come back again.”

“Quality, family run coffee shop. The owners and staff are always friendly and attentive. Service is typically quick even when it’s busy, and the pre-order website works great if you’re in a hurry! Prices are comparable to any specialty coffee shop, and the made-in-house selections are incredible! My favourites are their inventive monthly beverages, and their bagels with cream cheese. So yummy! I also appreciate their weekend hours for those of us who work all week.”

I have had better and had worse but the whole meal definitely hit the spot. After reading some of the reviews I am definitely going back and going to try a couple other items off the menu.”

“I came by after a day of work ready and hungry for some food and it was super busy in the store so it took a while to actually been helped out. I love the style of the store it is super good lots of choices and the food is very scrumptious. The other thing is it’s pretty expensive but if your not scared to spend money on things that are good than it’s a good place. I’m only giving 4 starts cause it took a while to get my food but that’s ok. Thank you for the good food!”

The staff were friendly and efficient, making sure everything was prepared fresh and with a smile. The classic breakfast was hot fresh and tasty as always, and the Beyond Meat burger was delicious perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

The restaurant was clean and welcoming, with a nice atmosphere to relax and enjoy your meal. I also love when the staff comes to my table asking if I need a coffee refile or anything. It’s clear they take pride in providing a great customer experience, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.”
