We went for a Christmas dinner celebration and this restaurant blew us away! The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting, we instantly felt at home. And we actually enjoyed this location even more than the one in Calgary. There's just something special about it! The food is absolutely to die for, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

One of the worst experiences I had at a restaurant. I’ve been going to the Calgary location for years now (almost every week) with my brother and my friend and never had any issues. Calgary location was closed this last weekend so we made the long trip to Canmore just for the food.From the moment we walk in we were judged and discriminated against. I guess they expect millionaires to be eating at this location.The whole night the waitress barely talked to us and made us wait long period of time for every little thing.At the end of our meal even with the horrible customer service, we decided to leave a $21 tip. However that was not good enough for our waitress who said “ in Canada everybody pays over 20%” in front of the whole restaurant to embarrass us.We had to talk to the manager with 0 resolution to the matter.We will never be coming to this location ever again and will make to tell everyone to stay away from here.This experience really made me appreciate the location in Calgary where Brad and his team go above and beyond for us every single time.

5 years after leaving a 5 star review, here's my update (still 5 stars!!!):We love Gauchos Canmore so much. It is our favorite date night out, we just wish we could afford to do it more! Yes, it's pricey, but you get what you pay for!!! The food is absolutely delicious & the service is top notch!!! Even though we only go a couple times a year, the servers recognize us & remember our preferences. They are personable, friendly, & super helpful. Keep up the good work!!!
