The food at Iron Goat Pub & Grill was absolutely amazing! Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The service was also excellent—friendly, attentive, and very flexible. Multiple staff members stopped by to check if everything was okay, which made us feel really well cared for. They clearly pay great attention to their guests and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Canmore!

Had so much potential to be good but the service lacked. Took about 20-30 minutes post seating to order food. Constantly had no water in my glass and the food arrived cold. My roasted veggies, specifically carrots, that came with the meatloaf were not fully cooked and hard vs the other veggies. Kitchen dropped the ball with my plate and my friends. Funny thing is, going on a Monday night, they weren’t full or appearing to be super busy with lots of tables empty. Can only imagine how service is worse on busier nights and in peak season. Duck wings were great- only saving grace, hence 2 stars.

We had our reception at this venue and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We rented the whole upper floor. Jess was amazing to work with she made the planning process so easy and stress-free, and we always felt like we were in the best hands. On the big day, the food completely blew us and our guests away. People are still talking about it, and for good reason! Some must-try favourites are the duck wings, the maple salmon, the strip loin, and the strawberry gin smash—unreal.
The service matched the quality of the food. The bartender and servers were fantastic, and the managers checked in with us multiple times throughout the night to make sure everything was going perfectly. Every detail was handled with care, and the whole team went above and beyond to make the day feel effortless.
We truly couldn’t be happier with our experience and would 100% recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect wedding location, or even just a great spot to grab lunch on dinner on your travels. They will be sure to give you a memorable experience.

A most beautiful evening setting. Duck wings are delicious. The a/c was a bit too cold upon seating, but they opened doors. Great architecture. Nice washrooms, but on the basement level.

We had the pleasure of having the Iron Goat cater our wedding and we could not have been any happier! Mike and his team were phenomenal, not only the day of, but weeks leading up to our day! They were pleasant to work with, accomodating to our dietary needs, and thought of everything that we needed even when we couldn't! Catering, planning, serving, bartending and cleanup! Literally every aspect thought of and executed! Mike even organized a bonfire for our guests since we had unexpected rain on the day and he didn't want anyone cold! We are now 3 months out and our guests still comment on how amazing the food was! Literally a chef's kiss on the Iron Goat!

My wife and I enjoyed the Iron Goat. We sat on the patio which overlooked the mountain range. I had the meatloaf, which I never order at restaurants. My wife ordered the French dip. Both were quite tasty. Also, our server was delightful.
Exceptional service, food and drink. We came to Iron Goat on our first night in Canmore and it set the bar high for any other restaurants. Highly recommend.
