Food was good but the bison sirloin was a bit salty
Great location, near Banff.
Beautiful atmosphere (rustic), And a view from the patio. Service was excellent.
A little on the expensive side, maybe because of its proximity to Canmore/Banff.
Three of us are & had one beer, our total was $168.00, plus a 20% tip, that’s $200 total.
Portions were fair, not small.
Server (Jody) was great and helpful, directing us to some other restaurant/grill to check out.
We just visited Canmore/Banff and loved this place. The food was outstanding with a wonderful selection at good prices. We had appetizers, dinner and dessert and delicious. We are a family of 5 and everyone loved it we ate here 2 nights. The staff is so friendly too Highly recommend!
We were in Canmore on vacation and had a great meal here! The Iron Goat came recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were going to be a few minutes late for our reservation but, because we called ahead, they were able to keep our reservation without issue. The food was good, arrived promptly, and was reasonably priced. It would be tough to beat the view through the large windows!
First place we went to after flying into Canada. The restaurant is beautiful! The staff is super friendly and Chris gave us wonderful recommendations. You have to try the fried duck wings! They were soooo good! It's definitely worth the stop!
The food was great, the fries had an odd taste, but our server Chris was amazing, refilling drinks and making sure that we were doing good.
Popular Canmore eatery with a good selection of Alberta beer and ciders on tap. We had the grilled lamb chops, wild game meatloaf, maple bbq salmon and baby back ribs. The consensus from our group was that the food was generally pretty good. The baby back ribs get a 2 thumbs up. Service was very good. Reservations highly recommended.
A delicious meal in a wonderful place. All staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. A very eye catching and appealing spot with an interesting back story to its name. Beautiful place but welcoming to just the regular crowd.
Had the butternut squash ravioli, extremely delicious, and husband had the meatloaf, also delicious. Broccoli was probably the best thing on his plate.

I had a delightful time in the pub tonite. The atmosphere is cozy, but the best parts were the staff and the food! Chris, the owner, welcomed me warmly and so did Angelo(?) the assistant manager. Tgey both made sure i enjiyed my drinks and food. The Thai Coconut Salad was amazing. Angelo made the very light and tasty peanut sauce which perfectly dressed the yummy salad and delicious coconut shrimp. I usually forego the taco strips, but I ate every one of them! Seasoned nicely. The other food and drinks that passed by looked intriguing. I'm definitely going back again before I go home and highly recommend it.

I now need to leave a review
We came here for a wedding dinner about a year and a half ago. The service and food were top notch.
The last few times we’ve stopped in for supper between travelling from Invermere to Calgary. And this place does not disappoint. Still the great food, service, atmosphere.
Reservations are recommended, but on our last visit the staff was nice enough to squeeze us in on our way back home to Invermere.
Well done team?

Great atmosphere & food. Enjoyed it enough we came back a 2nd night in a row during our Canmore stay. Beautiful open beam alpine style space, music not too loud. Kind of glad another of our favourite restaurants happened to be closed which prompted us to find & try out the Iron Goat. We weren’t disappointed.
It was my first time visiting the Rockies and I stopped at the Iron Goat Pub with my group of friends. The bar has an amazing and warm ambience with fantastic views of the mountains while you dine in. We tried their nachos which I would recommend anytime and any day. Tried the drafts which were awesome, specifically the Cabin Brewing and Trolley 5 and it suited well overall. When visiting Banff or Canmore, do try to make a stop here and experience the beauty.

Dark lodge type atmosphere, I had the salmon skin meal, the veggie & quinoa were cooked very well with it, pineapple salsa was a bit off BUT a nice flavor touch with the sweetness.
The staff was extremely polite & courteous. We had a reservation for 7:30P & they weren’t ready for us… so they accommodated by seating us at the bar for drinks. The food was really good & portioned well for a single meal without leftovers. First time here & it was a good experience.
