Cute place, my fave to warm, soup or curry place to go to in town. Great prices, serving size is good and they are always fast and it's fresh. Spring rolls are yummy and the coconut curry is delicious.

We had such an amazing experience at Thai House in Canmore!
From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large group. The service was incredibly attentive and welcoming—you really get that warm, family-owned feel here.
The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the chef’s favorites, the pad Thai, and the crispy tofu (don’t miss out on the sauces—they take everything to the next level!). They ask if you want spice from a level 1-5 and I’ll warn you level 2 is SPICY and none of our group could handle level 3 which is extra spicy. Every dish was packed with flavor and the portions were massive! Definitely made for sharing 2-3 people per dish.
If you’re in Canmore and looking for authentic, delicious Thai food with exceptional service, Thai House is a must-visit.

Even it is a just small restaurant in the corner of small restaurant mall. Food was excellent. Highly recommended. Just you may want to avoid peak time because you don’t want to wait too long.

Worst food I've ever had. I don't know how they are staying in business, to be honest.
The food was way too salty, to the degree that it was burning my tongue. I can't describe the taste, but it was definitely the worst food I've had in my life.
When we made inquiry about the saltiness, they retorted back saying that all Thai food is salty. Umm... no? I've been to Thailand and had perfectly delicious food.
Overall extremely disappointing experience. The portion size is big, but we just could not finish since the food was so bad. I'm just a bit worried about the overall quality of the restaurants in Canmore if this place rated among the highest...

If you follow a vegan or vegetarian diet, I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place. We ordered the vegan pineapple fried rice and discovered a piece of chicken in it. When we pointed it out to the server, there was no apology or concern shown—almost as if it was a common occurrence. The staff came across as unfriendly, and I wouldn’t consider returning or supporting this restaurant again.

- slow service, long waiting lines might come from slow services.
- I ordered Pad Thai, Tom Yum and Pineapple fried rice. all are too much salty, my family couldn't eat them, even added hot water several times, we couldn't complete them. still I am drinking waters after 2 hours driving.
I think chefs could have vacation and part-timers cooked.

If the mountains are paradise, Thai House is heaven.
An absolute unicorn restaurant. Impeccable service, nice atmosphere, amazing food. Cannot fault this place, also great value for money and massive portions.
A must-dine on Canmore/Banff area.

Extremely unprofessional and downright rude customer service.
We placed a large takeout order over $300 and even tipped $40+ on top of that. When we got home, we realized several dishes were missing rice including curries and laab. I have NEVER been to a restaurant that serves curry with no rice.
When we called to politely ask about it, the owner herself responded with: “That’s on you. We didn’t ask you to tip.” Then she immediately hung up on us.
To spend that much money, tip generously, and still be treated with such hostility is shocking. If this is how the owner thinks customers should be treated, it speaks volumes about how little they value the people keeping their business alive.
Save yourself the money, the disrespect, and the disappointment. There are far better restaurants that will treat you with basic courtesy.

This restaurant does not provide rice for dishes that normally come with rice. Such as curry or laab. It’s ridiculous how expensive the dishes are and something as simple as rice isn’t included. It was never mentioned to us that those dishes do not come with rice. We got a to go order and was left disappointed after spending over $300 for a group of 8.

Visited Thai House for lunch one afternoon. Staff was very friendly & the food came out fast. The cashew nut dish was a standout! With different protein options, they are able to accommodate diners who are vegetarian.

Amazing food and amazing service! Got the red curry with bamboo shoots and the flavor was on point and so delicious! Food came promptly and the servers were very friendly and came to check on our table a few times to see how we were doing as well as grabbing more napkins and refilling our water without having us to ask them. This place is a definite must visit when in Canmore!! Would definitely come here again
