We had an amazing experience with the Mooseshed BBQ and having Luke cater our wedding. The food was delicious, our guests only had positive remarks and we often got comments like “this is the first wedding we went to where we actually felt full after the meal”. Luke was always professional, kind, punctual and it made it so easy to work with him. His menu is fairly priced for the Canmore market which is an additional perk. We cannot say enough good things about Luke and his team - we highly recommend him for catering your events or if you’re looking for a great meal on Main st. Thanks Luke !!!

Luke and his team at The Moose Shed BBQ were amazing to work with for our wedding! They were incredibly accommodating with all of our dietary needs — from vegetarian and gluten-free guests to food allergies and our request for no oil (Luke even adjusted recipes to cook in tallow instead). Everything was seamless, the food was absolutely delicious, and we received so many compliments from our guests. Luke was always quick to respond and made the entire process stress-free from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Did carry out from the food truck, asked if they could do meat platter no rolls no side, guy said nope, so went ahead and got 2 sandwiches no roll. Got the smallest amount of food and half the pork was fat and gristle. Not really good either! Super disappointing

From booking to the wedding day he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, the food was incredible, his staff so polite and friendly, and communication was great!! Everyone at the wedding commented on how amazing the food was! I highly recommend using the Moose shed BBQ for any event you have!! His food truck downtown Canmore is also amazing!!

Ripoff, payed 44$ for some tiny burgers, storebought buns and the slaw was just plain cabbage. Unseasoned fries bad service innacurate wait time and avoid this place at all costs.
Got the Carolina Pit Fries The pulled pork is so tender and flavourful - smokey, seasoned well. Fries were great. Doesn't look much but it's quite filling. Great outdoor seating. Also have option to stay on the shed. It's located at quite a heavy foot traffic so parking can be either difficult or pricey.

If I could give more stars, I would because the brisket is that good. Perfectly tender, bursting with flavor, and absolutely unforgettable. Even the bread and coleslaw were delicious, and I don’t usually eat that. I found myself wanting more of everything. Who would've thought you’d find world-class brisket right here in Canmore? Hats off to Moose Shed, you nailed it!

Stumbled upon this gem after walking down Main St., we didn't really know what to expect, but it was one of the best meals we had on our entire trip! The Brisket Smash Burger and the Moose Shed Poutine were perfect, the brisket gravy on the poutine was fantastic! Definitely up there with one of the best poutines I’ve had! If you’re in Canmore, you must come here for dinner! We sat outside, but there is a decently sized wooden shed with some indoor seating too!
