Worth coming to Canmore for this place alone! The brisket is the best I’ve ever had, the pulled pork was unreal too! I’d travel quite far just to eat here! The guy who runs it is also incredibly lovely and passionate too which is always a good sign. Easily the best meal I’ve had in a very long time! Brilliant.

The brisket was absolutely perfect for our men’s retreat with 10 guys in Canmore. We had enough to enjoy it over three separate meals, and it was a hit every time. Luke personally delivered the food, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. Everyone loved it, and we’ll definitely be ordering this again along with other items for our next retreat!

The BEST beef brisket sandwich I’ve ever had!!! It’s so thick but tender that it literally melt in my mouth. Luck enough to arrive on the first official opening day of them. Would definitely come back to try other stuff and recommend anyone who comes to Canmore to try it out🤤

Luke was great to deal with for our function this past week with 50+ people. The brisket and pulled pork were amazing. Everyone really enjoyed the baked beans and homemade Mac and cheese. As a person with a gluten allergy everything was spot on with no issues. We will definitely use Luke again.

Had Moose Shed BBQ at the Banff Christmas market this year at the train station, there every weekend till 8th of December if you’re in town you have to try it out, best BBQ food this side of the Canadian Boarder, absolute must have!

Amazing experience. We booked Luke and his team initially by reputation alone but went to visit Canmore for a weekend and tried the food truck, it did not disappoint! People literally stared at us as we walked down the street and we could heat them comment on the amazing smell. We had a wedding of 120 guests and every stage of the experience was so wonderful, the menu was created to meet the needs and wants of everyone including gluten-free and vegetarian. The day of the wedding he was completely stress-free and I received so many compliments on food from our guests throughout the night and in the weeks following. I absolutely recommend The Moose Shed for an afternoon bite or a whole event.

The Mooseshed BBQ food truck catered our 100 person wedding and it was perfect! We had it out at a campground so it was great that they could show up with no kitchen required and smoke the food onsite for us. Food was delicious- the guests had rave reviews for the pulled pork, bbq chicken and bratwurst. They were great to deal with, friendly, and food was ready right on time. Highly recommend!
