Tucked into the Malcolm Hotel, The Pulse offers top-notch coffee in a cozy, polished setting. I had the s’mores latte and a breakfast bagel—both excellent. Service was warm, and seating by the lobby fireplace made it an ideal quiet spot to start the day. A great local alternative to the usual crowded cafés in town.

Heard their hot chocolate was good, but it turned out to be a big disappointment. The lady didn’t even acknowledge that our order was wrong. I specifically asked for extra hot. Definitely not recommending this place to anyone.

Rushed our order. Didn't even try to mix the chocolate shavings..drink luke warm after requested for an extra hot one. Poor customer service. Won't be coming back to this spot.

Best coffee in Canmore! Very smooth and loved the available cocoa powder as a topping for my cappuccino. Beautiful hotel as well to sit by the fire and enjoy my morning coffee!

Mocha coffee is good!
We found this wonderful coffee shop in the Malcolm Hotel. The servers are friendly and helpful. We opted for the maple latte and it was honestly the best maple latte we have ever had. We also had the macarons strawberry and passion fruit. The passion fruit was really really good. The coffee shop has places to sit and has cute gift items if you are looking for higher quality souvenirs. Would highly recommend this place. Lots of trails right off the doorstep to go for a walk and sit in nature with your coffee!

Most inefficient process and not so happy employee. If you expect a person to wait till all bar drinks (10 on counter- lattes, iced etc) before you give a to go drip coffee your organization has some process issues to work through.

Came here numerous times during our honeymoon. We came originally for coffee but came back for the breakfast bagel which was EXCELLENT (maybe the best we have ever had). Get the maple coffee - it’s the best by far.

Wonderful coffee shop inside the Malcolm. Excellent service and food.
I got the matcha latte which was just right and not too sweet, and my husband got the cold brew, a suggestion from the barista when I had originally asked for an iced americano. We had the ham and cheese croissant for lunch, which was toasted and it was excellent. Wonderful location, get a coffee and snacks to go and where are enjoy the riverfront.
