“La Diperie is a small shop offering nice treats: ice cream, donuts, waffles, shakes, … if you are looking for a big “shot of sugar” you can have a break there.
Tried the ice cream: Watermelon sorbet, mango and “rainbow” ice cream. Favorite is the watermelon with chocolate pearls inside. Nice discovery. Mango is nice. Rainbow tastes like bubblegum, not my favorite. 3 large scoops for $10.17 (incl. tax) is a decent price. Compared with the one I had in Surrey, it is cheaper and has a better taste.
Other flavors available are vanilla, chocolate, mint choco, caramel, pistachio, strawberry, lemon, bubblegum, cookie dough. You can have a dip as well (green tea and other flavors I don’t remember). Too bad they don’t have green tea ice cream.
Recommend the place and will probably come back to try other treats.“

“We have eaten at this location quite a number of times in the last month or so….having coupons definitely helps. The place is clean and staff are friendly. I am sad that they don’t have the Julius here anymore. The service is a little slow at times, but if you consider the quality of the prepared food (burgers actually look like the sign shows) then you understand the trade off. Food is great, well presented and tasty. Some of the younger staff can get a little bit cheap on the banana split toppings, but that may be a training issue. We will continue to come by….more so if we get coupons again,“

“We love McKenzie Towne DQ! Since the pandemic we have been ordering blizzards in the evening on a pretty regular basis. Always two small blizzards and a dog treat. I guess we a regulars now cuz they even know us by name. On occasion they have even up sized our blizzards and our dog has received a full sundae size ice cream treat...she is thrilled the day she gets those. Thank you Michelle, Anne and Alexie!!!! “Little bit of a story .. tried going online to order a custom cake and was within the 2 day ordering needed but the calendar online would not give me the option of the day I wanted to pick up so I called the store but did not get the name of the lady who I spoke to. She went ABOVE and beyond what I was hoping for. She noted the time and day I would be coming to pick up the cake. Stayed on the phone while I uploaded the photo of what I wanted on the cake till she received it. Confirmed everything at the end of the conversation.Gave feedback via email on the coloring of the icing to go on the cake for the best look and the cake looked amazing upon pick up !! “This is the most consistent Dairy Queen in the city
Every time I go here, I definitely know I’m going to get what I pay for.

the last few Dairy Queen’s that I have gone to put a soft drink cap on top of their blizzards but not this location I value this location. The staff is super nice.

I go out of my way to come from Cranston to this location specifically because they always seem to maintain consistency out of all of Dairy Queen I go to.

I will definitely back. As long as the quality and service stay at the level they operate at currently.“
