OPA! of Greece The Quarry (Cochrane)

OPA is such an amazing Greek food place. I am very particular about how my calamari is and they do perfect on it everytime. Been going to this location for as long as I can remember. The staff is super friendly and the service is phenomenal. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone

​Avoid Opa! of Greece in Cochrane – A Complete Disappointment
​If you are looking for fresh Mediterranean food in Cochrane, keep driving. My recent experience at Opa! of Greece Cochrane was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in town. From poor food quality to blatant order errors, this meal was completely inedible.
​Burnt and Cold Calamari
​I was looking forward to the calamari, but what I received was unacceptable. The pieces were heavily overcooked and burnt, yet somehow arrived cold. It’s rare to find food that is both scorched and freezing at the same time, but they managed it.
​Meatless Wraps and Major Errors
​The main part of our order was even worse. We ordered two Opa! wraps, but when we got home, we discovered they contained only vegetables. There was absolutely no meat inside either wrap. For a restaurant that prides itself on souvlaki and gyro, failing to include the protein in a meat-based wrap is a massive oversight.
​Soggy, Old Salad
​The side salad was the final straw. The lettuce was clearly days old—it was brown, translucent, and incredibly soggy. It was so wilted that it was entirely un-editable. It’s clear that freshness is not a priority at this location.
Highly Advise Against
​This was a disgusting experience from start to finish. Between the burnt calamari, the missing meat in the wraps, and the rotten salad, it was a total waste of money.
​If you are searching for restaurants in Cochrane or a quick Greek lunch, I highly advise against ordering from or going to this Opa! location. There are much better local options that value quality and customer service

Unbelievable how I can order a pita wrap meal combo and pickle spears, only to receive pickle spears instead of my fries while I paid for both. Maybe do a reading comprehension test before hiring people?

Food is yummy and service is amazing, appu very helpful she recommended me to download and use the app make me get a lot of good deal and freebies when they have promotions, I love this place and really want to recommend to everyone.

Ordered on doordash, they left the cutest note on the bag , things like this make peoples days. So sweet and great food!

Atmosphere was clean, food was as expected, however we order 2 similar meals, one with Caesar salad, one with Greek salad and I arrived home with both meals made with Greek Salad. Room for improvement.

Ordered two caesar salads with bacon from skip, both salads had NO bacon, which I paid extra for.
The rest of the food was good but i'm very disappointed that I was charged for something I never received.

Called for pickup, was told it would be ready in 8-10 min. Arrived order sitting on counter.got home maybe 7 min., order was cold. Ordered Lamb, was tough as old goat. Too bad used to be so good.

All I can say is wow! The gyro pita was amazing. Crisp fresh lettuce! The taziki was super tasty. The calamari was incredible and tasty. The baklava was comparable to a resto I ate in Crete last month! Super happy I took the plunge and ordered! Will be ordering more and more from here! Thank you for a great meal!!! SETON, Calgary AB
