Amazing food! The marseille sauce on the muscles was so delicious I ate it like soup! My daughters home made chicken tenders were also spectacular.I can’t add more reviews so I will continue to add to this one. I will never not rave to anyone and everyone about this place. The staff is usually running around like crazy but are always so friendly and amazing, even when it’s crazy busy. The food is spectacular. We’ve basically tried everything on the menu at this point and never had anything even mediocre, it’s all amazing! Salads, schnitzels, chicken strips, wraps, sea food, pasta, cocktails, gelato, coffee, pastries and cakes, all spectacular. 1906 is a beautiful gem in Didsbury and I’m so grateful to have them here.

We found this lovely little place while driving around and decided to drop in. Wow, the food was better than the last few meals we've had in Airdrie. We are so happy they have found a home in Didsbury and we will be back often, by the way, we are from Crossfield. 5 stars.

What can I say? Rural food options are usually limited but to find a nicely done Schnitzel with Spaetzle in a small town was a real treat! There were 4 of us and everyone enjoyed their meals. My favourite restaurants are the ones that make me want to come back because there's more on the menu that I want to try but I'll probably still have the Schnitzel.

Had a group of 7 with 4 teenagers in for a meal Sunday evening. Great food , atmosphere, staff and value. Portions are not huge we enjoyed every bite. The kids enjoyed playing the piano/playing chess while we waited for our meals. We’ll be back!Dietary restrictions: Food allergies and GF.

The schnitzel took us right back to our month long road trip through Germany.Our entire meal was absolute perfection - start to finish.The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, clearly passionate about what they do, and the restaurant.Bravo, we will be back again!!
I was in Didsbury the other day with my wife. We were looking for a place to eat. She googled where to eat, and came across a spot called 1906.From the very first step inside I was impressed. It's a small and well laid out little place.The staff was very polite and helpful with the menu. Our waitress told us about the specials and explained them very well.I ordered the 8 ounce steak with the whiskey peppercorn sauce and my wife ordered a chicken wrap.Our order came out pretty quick, without the long painful wait you probably experienced at other restaurants.The food was hot and smelled amazing.My steak was by far the most amazing steak I have ever had. When I told my wife how amazing it was she said. " It must be really good because we go out for dinner a lot and I've ordered steaks in many other places that were known to have great steak"It was soooo tender you could cut it with your fork. The flavor was out of this world. I said it and will stand by it. "I have never had a better steak." The chef came out to ask how our meals were. It was over the top good from the first bite.I took a bite of my wife's wrap and the flavor in it exploded in my mouth. The combination of flavors work so well together it was amazing.I don't eat salads very much and I tried the one that came with my steak. The homemade salad dressing on my salad was crazy good. I ate the whole salad. I never eat the salad with any meal.I did not leave a bite of that salad behind. Ate every piece.To sum it all up. 1906 is in Didsbury, and about an hour drive in one direction from our home. We will definitely be driving back to Didsbusy just to eat at 1906 again. To be honest as I'm writing this. I want to go back again right now.It's by far one of the best places we have ever eaten in. There is not enough words to explain how amazing it was.Thank you 1906 and staff for the experience and the OMG amazing food.Your forever customer,Steve
