“Amazing food! The marseille sauce on the muscles was so delicious I ate it like soup! My daughters home made chicken tenders were also spectacular.I can’t add more reviews so I will continue to add to this one. I will never not rave to anyone and everyone about this place. The staff is usually running around like crazy but are always so friendly and amazing, even when it’s crazy busy. The food is spectacular. We’ve basically tried everything on the menu at this point and never had anything even mediocre, it’s all amazing! Salads, schnitzels, chicken strips, wraps, sea food, pasta, cocktails, gelato, coffee, pastries and cakes, all spectacular. 1906 is a beautiful gem in Didsbury and I’m so grateful to have them here.”

“Visiting from Ontario. The store was closed but the owner seen us looking in the window and opened the store for us. He let us taste and buy. Very friendly. Great tasting beer. As I am not really a beer drinker I Loved..The creamy ( mildest beat and the lemon ??. A must visit if visiting and if living in Didsbury ?”

“I had been told my lots of people how good the food is so I decided to try it for our caregiver get togethers that we have. There was over forty of us I never heard one complaint about anything. “We order dinner for 2, plus beef fried noodles, and salt and pepper squid for our family of 4 adults, and we all eat twice. Soooo good, call earlier in the day, and place a pre order. The service is always so friendly and it will be a local staple for me. There is an insane selection of board games to play or buy along with all the nerdy nick nacks you could ever want. Are you into Warhammer or model building? D&D? They have it all. “If you’re lucky enough to be in the beautiful town of Carstairs, Alberta on a warm sunny day you are absolutely required to hit up the baron. Eat at the tables outside, take it to the park, heck take it to a bench by the cemetery if you must, just enjoy this deliciousness and thank the heavens a place like this still exists. I spent two months in Carstairs in the summer of 2020 and i swear i ate the veggie burger every day. I ate so many they started inventing an entire secret vegan menu just for me. Next thing you know they were making me vegan pizza burgers, with vegan cheese and pineapples on it. Again, i was vegan and in Carstairs for two months, as you can imagine the options were pretty sparse. They went out of their way to do something special for me and I’ll never forget that. “Really cozy, small town coffee shop that has an awesome vibe to it. I could see myself sitting here for hours studying, reading or doing puzzles. The staff are amazing, super sweet and helpful, great service. The drinks are pretty good, their crunch coffee has got to be my favorite, with those chunks of skor bar in it, so good. Prices are reasonable. Perfect location right across from Olds College, plus students get a 10% discount when they show their ID. Haven't tried any of their food yet but it always looks good. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a good place to study or grab a coffee before continuing on their road trip.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options available which you can't find at everywhere.Parking: Good amount of parking to the front and side of the building, they also have a drive thru which is super convenient if you're in a hurry.”
