We went to this restaurant for the first time and absolutely loved everything! The food was incredible, the service was excellent, and we were truly impressed with the entire experience.
The portions are very generous, and everything was delicious. Definitely the best schnitzel I’ve ever had! We will absolutely be coming back soon. Highly recommended!

The 1906 Bistro - Bar, located in Didsbury, offers delicious and impressive dishes. The Marseille sauce on the mussels is noteworthy, as are the homemade chicken tenders. The menu includes a variety of options, from salads and schnitzels to pasta, seafood, and pastries. The service is friendly and efficient, even when busy. Reviewers highlight the great schnitzel, including a gluten-free option that received positive comments. The atmosphere and music create a cozy and quaint setting. The restaurant is a hidden gem, offering a taste of European dining, with a backyard patio featuring live entertainment and a sidewalk cafe during summer. The owner cares about staff and guests, often coming around to chat. The restaurant is highly recommended as a standout in the area, with dishes that rival those found in larger cities. It is wheelchair accessible on the ground floor. The presentation of the food was fabulous and delicious. The chef came out to meet guests and the whole staff was hospitable. The pappardelle was absolutely amazing, as was their Greek appetizer plate.
