I visited 1st RND for Wing Wednesday for the first time. My wife and daughter both ordered the salt and pepper wings. When the wings first came out, I remember thinking they looked a little light in colour, but I didn’t say anything at the time.
After each of them tried a wing, they both felt the wings were underdone. They weren’t raw, but the skin was soft and not what a wing should be.
I suggested we let the waitress know and ask if they could be cooked a bit longer. She took the plates back, then returned and said they couldn’t cook them further because the wings had already been touched, but she could send over a manager.
I explained the situation to the manager, who repeated that since the wings had been touched, they couldn’t be put back in the fryer due to policy. I said I understood and asked if we could simply order a fresh batch instead. I was then told no, because the kitchen had checked and confirmed the wings were cooked to their standards.
What surprised me most was how inflexible this was over something that seemed like such a simple fix. Making a fresh order of wings would have taken only a few minutes and would have completely solved the issue. Instead, the response felt dismissive and unwelcoming, as though our concern didn’t really matter.
This wasn’t about trying to get something for free or insisting “the customer is always right.” It was about two meals that, in our opinion, weren’t prepared properly and a very straightforward opportunity to make it right.
One small additional note. Normally this wouldn’t even be worth mentioning, but since I’m already sharing feedback: we also added the veggies and dip for $2. What came out was essentially one celery stick and one carrot, each cut in half. If “veggies and dip” is meant to be that minimal, it would be better to describe it more clearly on the menu. As it stands, it feels misleading.
That decision over the wings may have saved the cost of some wings, but it also cost you a return visit from our family.

Went to watch the Oilers game thinking that an Edmonton bar/restaurant would have it on with sound but that was not the case they had NFL football on instead. Service was awful waiting for drinks and our waitress knew nothing about the menu or specials wouldn't recommend

I placed an order through SKIP. First issue - paid for a can of soda and it was not in the bag. I called 1st Round and they said sorry but I would have to take it up with SKIP?? SKIP didn't pack the bag - the restaurant did. Next - I ordered the 3 sliders and fries. I said no lettuce on the sliders... There was lettuce. I ordered - and paid for - gravy for the fries. There was no gravy. I asked for a side of vinegar - they didn't provide it. While their food is good - this take out order has made me rethink using them in the future.

Fish Tacos were great. The brusheta was horrible. Service was good. Price expensive. Would not go ever again.
I have been to this restaurant many times and always had a great experience. Unfortunately, today was not the same. I ordered the fish and chips and there was barely any food. I received a small piece of fish that the oil must have been very dirty because the fish coating was almost black in places. The thing that got me the most was that there was a handful of fries. I'm not a big eater but this was ridiculous for $17. Too bad because I have never experienced this here before.

Food was delicious, atmosphere is fun if you're watching hockey or football. Our servers name was Sal and he was very attentive and on top of everything. Pretty sure my glass was empty for all of 30 seconds.
Its a nice place to go after a long day of shopping or swimming with the family.

Came here to watch the fight with my friends and the server izzy was absolutely incredible. Kept checking on us multiple times for refills and to make sure our meals were all good. Best service and atmosphere especially for fight/game nights !
