Wow!! Absolutely perfect night out at Bar Bricco!! We came up from Calgary and took my in-laws (from Edmonton)… we all died and went to heaven. Shared the tuna crudo, ricotta, kale salad, charred broccoli, two pastas, and the pork feature. I honestly can’t say which was the best as they were all divine. And our server — Rachel — 💯! She knew everything inside and out and guided us perfectly with cocktails, wine, and food. I will dream about this meal until we return!

My husband and I came here for the first time and it was delicious! The waitress was great at explaining the menu and giving us recommendations. Every plate we had was excellent!

If I could give Rachel 25 stars I would. She was excellent and funny and knowledgeable. The food was amazing as usual for this group of restaurants but Rachel is the true star. Give her a raise & take her to Italy!!!! Thank you Rachel (:

Easily one of our top two favourite restaurants in Canada — and it still holds that spot even after dining at countless Italian restaurants (including many Michelin-rated experiences).

This is one of Corso’s original concepts and one of the first locations he opened, and I genuinely love that he’s kept the concept true to what it was from the beginning. He has other restaurants that feel more modern and trend-driven (very Vancouver/Toronto in the best way), but this one continues to be our absolute favourite because it’s so unique, timeless, and original. I really hope it never changes.

The original chicken ragù is an absolute must-order — we think about it all the time. The focaccia, house ricotta, and fried chicken are also outstanding and consistently memorable. For dessert, the biscuit panna cotta is always a win.

A small note: they used to have this incredible chocolate-hazelnut style cake years ago, and I still hope it makes a comeback someday.

If you want Italian that feels truly special and not like every other “new” concept, this place is it.

They sat two of us at the furthest away booth, right by the washrooms. We felt none of the ambiance, very dark. We asked to move; they moved us to a table by the window (perfect) but then told us they needed it back by 6pm (our rezo was 5pm). We went back to our dark corner. We ended up just having a drink (was fine) and left. Went elsewhere for dinner.

Please don’t get me wrong, the food was delightful. HOWEVER, Bar Bricco was unable to kindly accommodate my lactose dietary restriction. We made a reservation, and note we should’ve mentioned that there was a dietary restriction and failed to do so, but when asked after ordering the Bricco Selects we were met with almost a shameful response?? Unfortunately the waitress that was serving us made it seem like it was quite the burden to have what would otherwise seem like a pretty typical dietary restriction. After 20/30 min of being given a revised menu of what would could be accommodated to my dinning experience ( which was purchasing the regular menu items and not the tasting menu that was originally ordered), we decided ultimately to just continue with what was originally ordered, Bricco Selects, given that my dietary restrictions will not be accommodated and save the staff what seemed to be a great hassle. Only to find out that tasting menu consists of many components of what was told that I could eat anyways, minus 3/4 tasting plates (about half of what was served). It is a real shame that the energy of the our evening was negatively influenced by feeling like I’m a burden, when it seems that there could’ve definitely been substitutions made to be more accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Especially at $150+ a head.

Drinks and wine recommendations were tasty and well done. Some of the food seemed one dimensional (especially the dessert) and a tad too salty for my taste.

Service was a bit slow but they did seem under staffed. When they did come around, they were wonderful. Great food and the wine was wonderful.

Love how cozy it is. Everything we ate was so good. Order the raviolo it's one of the most decadent and delicious things I've ever eaten. Please change your stools though. I have never sat on a more uncomfortable bar stool in my life. Traditional bar stools curve down at the edge, not up, for a reason.

Best food and restaurant in the city, we go every few months and it never ever disappoints.

Had a great time at Bar Bricco. The drinks were solid and the whole place had a really good vibe. I asked for a cosmopolitan and the bartender made their own version for me, which was actually really nice. Overall a really good experience.

Quite overpriced. Trying too hard to be fancy without the quality. Small portions even though they recommend to share. A bit disappointing. Our server was very friendly.

We had a lovely time on November 12, 2025. Kate was are server and she was fabulous. She gave us great tips on items to taste and try. She even gave us some housemade Sherry - which was delicious.
We had the:
Kale salad - yum
Fonduta Agnolotti - fantastic
Egg yolk ravioli- different, but delightful
Leeks with ricotta cheese and spicy oil - favorite!
Panna cotta with Biscoff crumbs for dessert - wow!!
It was a bit pricey but everything was super delicious and it was a treat out!
