I wanted to love this place so much, but sadly no. We went for my birthday and it was just a let down. We waited at the door to check in for our reservation for almost 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Although, I know the servers saw us, they wouldn’t even smile or say I’ll be right with you. Then, once seated at the bar, the bartender would not let us sit in the two seats next to the ones that we had originally been sat in. They said there was a reservation, but it didn’t come until we were nearly done our dinner.

That brings me to the food. For the price, the food is nowhere near what it should be. There is some stiff competition for food in the city and by comparison this place just does not match up. The chicken nuggets with caviar, cute idea, were so dry and sad. The linguine with lobster was in a pool of sauce, quite unpleasant. None of the food was savoury or cravable.

That brings me to the service: We sat directly in front of the bartender, and he left our dirty dishes in front of us for almost 25 minutes. He was arrogant and condescending. He spoke to us like we’d never dined out before. I had to make an effort to try and get him to treat us with respect by acquiescing to his cattiness.

Overall, just a huge letdown. Very cute environment, but the details are not being taken care of at this restaurant. The place plays off like this: it’s as if the restaurant itself and the servers are pretending to play “high-end restaurant“.

Also, the bathroom had no toilet paper, there were paper towels all over the floor, just yucky for a restaurant where your bill is considerable. Boo… ☹️ and sad.

We had William as our server, and he was truly superb!! Our reservation got mixed up, and he was more than accommodating to make sure we still had a great night! I truly would recommend coming here, and the servers (specifically William) are excellent!

Had an excellent evening at Trove! Our server/bartender Will was so charming and knowledgeable - helped with recommendations and made custom drinks based on what we liked. The Wagyu and Ricotta Toast were our personal highlights - could eat them every day, so delicious. Overall, a very upscale, sophisticated and aesthetic experience with fantastic staff, food and drink, and a gorgeous vintage space. Would absolutely come back.

All in all a good experience. Definitely more of a cocktail and snack sort of place. Food was higher end but Ina fun way.

We tried a ton of dishes.

The standout was the lobster linguine oddly enough.

The wagyu steak wasn't really worth the price. Id recommend the wagyu batonette if you want to try wagyu. You get a good amount and its enough to enjoy.

Drinks were good but $$$, they have a few non alcoholic options that were also good.

Music is a bit loud, would be nice if it was turned down just a hair. The place gives a food and mingle vibe but it was a bit hard at our larger table.

Very small inside, and the chairs at the tables are not really meant for dining as they dont move easily. So it can feel a bit cramped.

I’ve been to Trove a few times and ever time I go I have a delightful time! I’ve done the tasting menu and I feel like for the price you get so much food! The menu is so well thought out and the food is truly incredible. This chef knows what they’re doing! Not only is the food amazing, but the service is so wonderful! Our server Jon and bartender Piper made for such an unforgettable time. 100/10!! Would highly recommend for a date night or a fun night out with you friends! You will not be disappointed.

Food seems quite overpriced. I know it's a super small venue, but they really need seating in the hall if you're waiting for your table. Fries are $14. 5oz wine super expensive too. The music is way too loud- can't hear my friend sitting right next to me. Enjoyed my company a lot, but the overall experience was just okay. Staff are super friendly and fun, I'll say that!

Stopped in for a cocktail after a show - GREAT spot. Desserts were good, but our bespoke cocktails the bartender created for us were excellent! Great vibes and great drinks. Would happily go back.

Spent over 500 dollars here to be serviced by a rude manager, eat 7/eleven quality chicken nuggets + literally lays chips with caviar & spend a million hours waiting in the lobby. Terrible service, mediocre food & why hire a manager that cannot accommodate, de-escalate & passionately deliver 5 star service that your competitor across the street provides CONSISTENTLY. Definitely will not return. This place probably will not last until they revisit their menu and staff. Wish I could give zero stars.

My partner and I came in for Valentine’s drinks and had such a great experience! The ambiance is gorgeous, the music was perfect, and our drinks were fantastic. We even got to try caviar for the first time! I had an amazing cocktail, and our server was so incredible, she even took the time to explain how I could make it myself at home. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Will is an amazing bartender. Hands down the best in the city.

Drinks are perfectly balanced and the selection and depth of cocktails from the menu is fantastic.

Definitely recommend this place for an elegant night out and if you’re a big fan of cocktails.

Everything was excellent overall, with just a few minor points of feedback.

The cocktails were a highlight—I’ve been searching for a bar that delivers this kind of elegant, light, and refreshing style, and this absolutely hit the mark. The space itself is beautiful, though the seating does feel a bit tight.

The oysters were outstanding. The wagyu, fries, and the ricotta with lemon were all excellent—well-executed and very satisfying.

The chicken nuggets, however, were slightly disappointing. The spice level is overpowering and masks the caviar entirely. A more classic approach—such as crème fraîche with chives, or even a subtle truffle pairing with the caviar—would allow the ingredients to shine much more effectively.

I was also a bit disappointed with the lobster pasta. At this price point, I was expecting to visually see and clearly taste the lobster. While the noodles and execution are technically very good, the lobster presence is minimal, and the sauce leans a little too salty.

On a positive note, I loved seeing an espresso machine—always appreciated. I would also love to see more dessert options added to the menu.

Overall, a wonderful experience with a few refinements that could make it exceptiona
